Oh dear. A very lucky 'get out of jail' performance again today.
Not quite as as bad as Stoke but still terrible.
Joe Hart MOTM says it all really.
Yet again no clean sheet.
Audrey Roberts did nothing but make two like for like substitutions
thay me or you could have made.
The defence constantly getting caught flat flooted with simple through balls.
A win is a win. Three points is three points.
But Pep has a job and a half on his hands when he arrives next June.
Roll on next June...

Already been suspended surely?

The lad next to me today was certain he is out but I think you are right. He is only just back from suspension. He did the basics poorly at times today. He really frustrates me. For a powerful fast lad he lacks strength and a yard of pace.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this but when Seansea scored a last minute equaliser they spent ages celebrating, using up the time. When we went 2-1 up the team, to a man, ran straight back into position...wtf? Why did we not use up the time? Drove me mad. I was screaming at them like Maureen at Eva

So you would rather play MDM if Kompany is not fit.

I'm not using him as a scapegoat but the fact is for a player who is at the heart of a defence of a team who want to win the PL and a CL he's simply no way near the level we need. I was happy to give him time and hoping he would become a great partner to Kompany but Pellegrinies biggest mistake was letting Denayer go out on loan and holding onto Mangala. He simply cannot fathom hes made a mistake with him and continues to throw him in and cross his fingers.

He was burned badly for the goal, misread it and then couldn't keep up with Gomis' fresh legs but the same thing happened to Otamendi at the start against Routledge when Hart made his only great save of the game ( don't get these posts saying Hart kept us in it ) yet I don't see him getting the criticism Mangala gets. I find it extremely odd.

I was glad Mangala made up for his error somewhat by the aggression he showed in the centre of the park to win the ball which set Yaya on his way to scoring via Nacho.

That's fair comment. Mangala gets a bit more stick because there is some patience being lost with him. He should be settled by now but your points are valid and the aggression he showed was his determination to make up for the goal.

We're very erratic, excellent in second half tue night dull and flat today, tired from Tuesday are we. Maybe.
I think mangala has a lot to learn, I would question his football intelligence his positioning and reading the game is poor.
Won a game we shouldn't have.

3 points so happy with the result.
Thought second half performance was very poor. Couldn't work out what way we were suppose to be lined up on the left. Was Delph playing left wing it left side of 3 man central ? Hart made a couple of very good saves and really makes himself big these days really happy with his performances.
Mangala badly caught by a long pass no excuse at this level for centre half to be caught like that. I just don't think he has the concentration levels needed to play at the top level but I really hope he proves me wrong in the long run.
Yaya stepped up today, good performance I thought and key at the end , who cares if it's his goal or not that was yaya we all love we needed something big and he delivered fair play to the big man we have all criticised him this season, he ain't the player of 2 years ago, but he ain't finished yet. Properly managed and used sparingly he still has a lot to offer.
Finally, to all those who got up and left when Swansea scored and before that point, hope that couple minutes you got home early for ur tea was worth missing another late winner for !

I try not to slag players off and have a dig but I can now see why city tried to off load Mangala in the summer on loan. He at times is one of most brain dead footballers I have seen.

I would love to know what went through his head when he smashed that guy on the bye line for absolute no reason and put us under pressure. Don't get me started on the goal.

I think someone at the club needs to maybe hold their hands up and say he has been a mistake. A very large mistake. We could have got John Stones for what we paid for him.
