Be interesting his goals per minute ratio. Bet it is better than 1 in 180 minutes, the old yardstick of 1 in 2

1 goal every 156 minutes in all comps.

what's nacho's ratio - anyone know?

1 every 68 minutes

He's the current scape goat.

His stats don't lie and I couldn't give a fucking if he scored with his left bollock, once it's in the net.

He's excellent back up for Aguero.

Put down the crack pipe you weirdo.

Cheers

OK smart hole, tell me who would have been a better purchase that was willing to play as back up?

He has netted something like 14 goals in 19 for Leverkusen since he escaped, delighted for him and long may it continue.

Bony = a wheelie bin in a city shirt . A wheelie bin probably more mobile and a better touch than Bony aswell . Dzeko twice the player when in the mood than Bony will ever be for city . Sorry to be so harsh about a city player but I have totally lost confidence and patience with the cunt ............ We need to buy another striker next month !

Decent, then

Indeed.

Good movement to lose his man and then a fine header for his goal.

He's a striker and he scored. It works for me.

He does a lot more than that, though; all of which some on here pretend or choose not to see.

Whenever we need to build pressure high up the pitch when we're in search of a goal (the Gladbach game being a perfect example), he holds the ball up brilliantly and is excellent at bringing people into play (look at that Sterling goal). He's much more than a one-dimensional goalscorer. His biggest crime is that he's not Sergio.

Oh, I agree in general. I didn't see all of yesterday's game cos Joan was in and out all evening, so that goal's all I am commenting on.

Bony,s touch and movement was non existent yesterday apart from the headed goal . Our front line was totally static yesterday also , Bony,s lack of movement frustrated the fuck out of Silva , Yaya and Fern1 , he slows our style of play down and continually gives the ball away . All the after match talk in the pub was about how shite Bony played and how our style of play is affected . Impact player from the bench at best in our system im afraid .

It's true his movement is frustrating to players looking for a pass but it's also that his touch isn't very good for the kind of passes we look to play. He has his moments of course and fundamentally we need him to score which thankfully he is doing but I am sure Iheanacho already would be a better fit for the team than Bony

I've nothing against Bony. He does a job that perhaps Nacho wouldn't be able to yet, but I agree with you Doug. I think Nacho is a much more natural fit for our game and given the chance I think he would really grow in that team.

While Bony doesn't possess the speed Nacho has if he didn't have the movement, touch or strength then he wouldn't of survived for long at Swansea or in the Premier League and wouldn't of thrived either.

I don't think anyone is doubting that he is a quality BPL striker, he just don't fit OUR system.
