You know what. We are not good enough, it's plain to see we are struggling and will be fortunate to get champions eague if we continue to defend like this.

We managed to make them look decent, although Arsenal are actually shit.

We seemed in charge of the game until they decided to go forward. 2 shots and 2 goals won the game, which probably proves your point.

We beat them on every stat apart from goals and cheating bastard referee. Pity the first half set-up allowed them to take the game.

Pellers is the new Wenger, does not know how to set-up a defence. Away from home or not, that just wasn't good enough again and I didn't get that 'Bode well' feeling going forward.

A change around needed for us to win this year, we look short.

He's not got a defence to set up. Playing the mangler is like giving the opposition a goal start.
And we need to stop misfiring in front of goal.

He has, as the fact he brought them both in. If then you see that there's no confidence there you build that by giving them a defensive screen. Manuel cannot do that as he's promised an attacking game, which could still work.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

We couldn't do much for the first goal, but fuck me the 2nd goal, we had a freekick in their half and what do we do, kick it to a player five yards away instead of putting the ball into the penalty area in the last minute of the first half, and then we lost the ball and they scored. And navas wtf shoot u cunt not try to give the ball to someone else and lose it

That freekick thing, we do it every fucking game. Stupid.

I was screaming for kolarov to whip one in to create an opportunity before the whistle.

Five games lost and still in touching distance. We have to start a run though and very very soon or it's going to get away from us. We just don't seem up for big games or any games actual away from home.

We have scored one away goal in the last three months and that's a shocking stat for a team attempting to win a title.

We have no balance in the team and look so disjointed. Whoever is scouting CBs needs to be fucked off pronto. If Mangala is worth over 30 mill what are Everton going to want for Stones. What was he doing for that goal, launch it and turn them around. So angry at the minute. I hate City at times, shit start to the week.

Love the positivity SoF but I think we have been shit for a while and we don't look like turning a corner yet.

I think Yaya should be dropped. I think Mangala is a liability. I think sagna needs a rest.

I did not see the game, read it livetext and finally now I saw the highlights. I defended Mangala and I still think there is a problem with him, but for me, a huge part of our eventual title lose will be on the hands of Kompany.

His idiotic selfishness to play for Belgium in a moment they were already qualified, cost us big time. Otamendi is playing in a position where Kompany should be. The Otter is a center back left, as the Mangler is.

Arsenal will fall, they usually do. We are really bad, it is not over, but there are little chances for us to really win it.

We do not look like champions, simple.

Mangala needs to go. Had his chance and just not good enough. We will be lucky to get 10 million for him. Denyer would have been no worse than him, not a chance. But we can't recall him so we are stuck with 3 CBs who are not good enough and one that has one leg.

It's not all doom and gloom. That game reminded me of the Chelsea defeat in Pellegrini's first season in charge. Despite our ropey away form early on in that season we went on to win the league.

The Postives....

It was only 2-1, "yes" I accept it could have been 4 or 5 "again", still its progress.

Joe Hart had another decent game. Says it all, when we are getting Mullered by shit sides by 4+ goals almost every other week these days, and he is keeping the defeats respectable.

We scored our first away goal in the Premier League since September.

We dominated Possession.

We had more shots at goal.

(Although less on target).

Leicester wont know what hit them when we turn up looking to redeem ourselves *sarcasm.

I am Glass half full tonight, inebriated .

No point getting stressed out about that Corpse in the dug out. He really is a dead man. The owners think Top 4 is assured, Me I am not so sure.

I think the Players have already downed tools. The manager and squad are already on holiday until Guardiolla arrives, Unforgivable really.

Just watched it on delay. Best team lost.
We urgently need a rich back. Our attack down that side is non existent because Sagna will never do it going forward.
I try to have belief in Mangala, but what the fuck?
Arsenal are nothing.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

Pellegrini Manchester City side, have taken just 17 pts from last 36 pts available.

2 pts less than Van Gaal's MUFC, who have taken 19 pts.

That is some indictment. When you consider Van Gal is going to get the bullet.

The difference is we are still in the Champions League (one of Pellegrini's targets). Pellergini is here for the rest of the season whether you like it or not. As for Mangala he isn't doing himself any favours for his long term prospects but one of his strengths is his character.

Unless we've got Pep in our back pocket then we missed a trick with Ancelotti.

The Count is done for me. He's a massive old undead fuck up of a cunt. The team mimics his droll, calm professionalism and I'm sick to death of it. The old cunt needs to fuck off massively and quickly to save our season. And yet much like the CB dilemma we have no one to swoop in and save us. As the best interim candidate would be Paddy and he's fucking off to NYCFC.

Not a happy bunny tonight. Fucking hate football. Wish I was into Dungeons and Dragons or internet porn instead.

Cheers

On one occasion I counted 6 Arsenal players against 3 City defenders and I also saw about 3 City players just jogging back and basically just gawking as if they expected the Arse to score................ID FINE THE FUCKIGN CUNTS JUST FOR THAT ONE PARTICULAR INCIDENT ALONE.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Strange game for me. I could see what Pellers had done with the team selection and to a point it was working ok up to the Walcott goal. Arsenal had set themsleves up to play on the break which they know is the way to play City. A packed defence and then pace going forward when they get the ball.

We were relatively cautious but controlling the game and then the goal. I actually shouted when the ball was played through to Ozil because it went past a stranded static Yaya and the rest is history. He had time and space to contol the ball and look up for the pass but to be fair it was a great finish.Sterling had a similar shot in the 2nd half but low to the right corner brought an easy save compared to the perfect Theo finish.

Then the nonsense 2nd goal coming from us giving the ball away stupidly. Shame for Mangala but why are his mistakes sucg bad ones! Kun for me should not have played. We know he takes a while and a good few matches to get going after an injury and tonight was standard proof for me.

There is so much talk about the way we play and how it needs Yaya as the deep lying playmaker but also that we cannot play Silva and Yaya in the same team. For me if our style of play needs Yaya in a deep role then we should change our style of play. He can still be or do special things as he proved tonight but overall I don't think we would be a worse team without him. Play him by all means but in a much clearer attacking role.

Tonight when we attacked Arsenal had 10 and at times 11 behind the ball. When Arse attacked we were missing Kun,Silva and also at times Yaya and KDB. We were better tonight and we did have chances. KDB and Navas effectively missed 1 on 1's. So that another very tough game gone away from home. Surely we can get something from Leicester?

We are capable in putting a winning run together under Pellegrini (we broke an record that had stood since 1912). Leicester we will see what state they will be in after their Boxing Day fixture.
