Looks now like the season will just fizzle out. It's not acceptable.

They had two chances in the whole first half. Second half we left ourselves open to the counter, absolutely fuck all embarrassing about it.

We allowed their best player to get time and space twice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. We went 2 in the middle again Pellers is an idiot, Delph a Left winger shoe horned in to protect AK. Unbalanced team with a liability at Centre Half, plus the Otter is not much better the two guys they had to mark scored.... That said with 30 % of the ball they looked like they had a goal in them we did not until the last 10 mins.

We had Yaya, Fernandinho and Delph in the middle. In the second half we had two in the middle and they exploited that on the counter.

Delph, was left wing, he may have strayed into the middle, the goals came from the threat we knew about, and like with Coutinio he nailed us.

Left wing? Like DeBruyne was right wing? Come on mate he was playing left of centre in a 3, Dinho centre and Yaya right of centre.

The biggest error for me was having Delph on to purely help Kolarov out against their RB bombing forward. The best option for that would have been to have Sterling on from the go and tell him to push up as much as possible so their RB can't go anywhere, and if he does Sterling can track him. He shows no bottle whatsoever Pellers. Constantly playing Yaya will be one of the reasons he gets fucked off. He can't be trusted in these types of games. Delph should have been in the middle with Fern and Sterling on the left and Yaya on the bench.

Ok I think some people on here need to take a deep breath. We lost 2-1 away against a team who didn't look that much better than us and on paper should be our main rivals. Nobody is running away with the league at the moment this year. We need our big players back and playing well. Like other posters say, Pellers is here till the end of the season at least. We are in third place in the league and in all the other comps. It's f**cking frustrating I know but that's what I love and hate about supporting City.

Back in Blighty, I watched on Sky Sports and that had to be one of the most bias commentaries I've heard for a while. Tyler and the other knob jockey couldn't have been more one sided, even if they were wearing Arsenal pyjamas!

Waiting for replays of any decisions, such as why did Delph go down holding his face on the halfway line or if Campbell was offside for his chance, either didn't come or came 10 minutes after.

As for Marriner, what a fucking performance ........... For Arsenal! Even the thought of a foul was given for them while we just got the shit kicked out of us.

I'm alright with the result, it happens. What I can't, and won't take, is the bollocks that Sky serve up.

That's my son getting his subscription cancelled, he's not paying for that shit.

I spoke to a colleague who supports Arse just now and his view was that the first half was even, apart from the finishing, that they were on top in the second but missed chances meant a scary last twenty minutes, which seems a fair view. He was surprised Navas didn't shoot!

He thinks they will suffer with injuries in Jan/Feb as Wilshere, Cazorla, Coquelin, Welbeck and Rosicky are all out until at least end Feb. He sees Cazorla and Coquelin as big misses but does not expect any big signings in the window.

I had Arlo White and Lee Dixon, but presumably the same footage. Ozil blatantly dived on an Arsenal counter at one point, one long distance replay later and it was brushed off as a foul that AK "had to make", and was followed by a replay of KDB tripping over the corner flag.

I would love to hear him explain some of the logic behind his team selections this season, and the stubborn system he continuously incorporates.

Ya Ya in the middle is the biggest problem. Pellegrini seems to think his contribution on the pitch far out weighs any negatives he has. we are conceding goals for fun. Yet he still picks a midfielder whose best days are long gone, along with his legs and exposes our defensive frailties even further every game. Makes no sense to me.

If Boney carries on putting a stone a week on in weight, he will be clinically obese before the end of the season. They will have to wheel him on the pitch in a fucking wheel chair.

It was fucking ridiculous mate, every foul for them was reshown straight away whereas ours seemed to have had time to be edited to suit.

And what's this huge thing about losing 5 games and not winning the PL? Wtf is all that about, as if they're taking us out of the equation for the remainder of the season.

We are 6 points behind the leaders, only 4 behind Arsenal, with both of them left for us to play, yet you'd think Arsenal had already won the league. Oh, and that is, of course, if you take Leicester out of the equation.

If we can pull back to 3 points behind the leaders at the end of February, a very doable job, then we will be well placed, so long as we have no more long term injuries to key players. Fans of other clubs that I speak to seem much more positive about our chances than we are. I think it is the squandering of points that depresses us rather than the actual situation.

Fuck me, they've now got a German on and asked him why Pep G would prefer London to Manchester.

Expert not exactly playing ball, says London would be a pull but with PGs connection with City, that's where he thinks he'll go.

Bye bye German expert!

I'm not too worried about the loss last night, we were away to Arsenal after all. It's the way we are being portrayed, as if we aren't relevant.

We all know, if we get it right, we can go on a run that will push us up the table. No way can Pellers keep getting it wrong, in my opinion, and at some point soon I believe we will see what this team is made of.

5 losses, whilst we've had real upheaval in the team with regard to injuries, is not such a big thing this season as everybody else is falling over themselves. Now we're getting players back and getting game time, I do believe that 4 and 6 points is not insurmountable.

people keep saying crap like this "we aren't too far back" and "if we can stay close." We're fucking absolutely shit in the league since the first 5 matches of the year. Roughly 3 months of very average crap. We are in a danger of not making CL on current form imho. And i'm not just being dramatic. We're fucking garbage. Did anyone watch last night and think "there's a team who can make the semifinals of the CL, run the league close, and win a cup, or two?" i didn't. Nothing close to that.

We're going to end up potless and pissless this season. And it's squarely on the Count for not getting these fuckers playing like they give any fucks at all. Hopefully our new badge won't reflect our current motto: "Arrogant Jogging"

bunch of one-touch passing bullies with zero teeth. No desire. An interest only at minute fucking 82 when down 2. A fucking calamity for a squad like this really. An absolute joke.

Happy Xmas City you plonkers.

cheers

apologies, i meant to say embarrassing performance, not result. you're right. losing 2-1 away to Arsenal isn't a bad result (in fact, i expected City to lose), especially since City have hardly ever won there.
