Did that latest injury finish his career or where the fuck is he?

We could do with a player that shows passion on the field!

Anyone think he'd be like a tiger as a DM? Or is it as waste of his talents as a fullback as Sagna doesn't maraud as well as Zabba and I think we've missed that outlet recently

Zaba has not got the legs or the pace or the touch or the awareness to play in midfield. Apart from those minor things tho he would be perfect!

He played defensive mid under Hughes a few times. I believe he scored a screamer at the time as well.

Don't think pace or indeed a great touch is what we miss as a DM though. It's tough tackling, a willingness to run and never say die attitude. All things Zabba has in his DNA. His positional sense may be sadly lacking I grant you and I don't know if someone his age could reinvent themselves.

Come back soon Zabba, we've missed you!!!

I've missed Zaba as well but a midfield player he is not. The tough tackling part is great except that he would probably be sent off quite quickly if he is chasing and late getting there. Let's get him fit and playing in his correct full back position and use the attacking nouse he has that Sagna hasn't. Add to that Sagna has gone off the boil recently and we need Zaba back.

Sagna only ever improved when he was battling for Zabbas position...since his injury the Lazy cunt has been shite.

Cant wait for the league's best right back to get back in the team.

Yeah, injuries have had a ripple effect because complacency creeps in; Zabaleta being back will shake things up even if he is benched for Sunderland.

What's the betting he bleeds first game back?

Looking forward to seeing him again.

We have too many DM,s and not enough right backs.so this would be a silly thing

I hope this s a fit Zabba, we have missed him. If it is a slower version, then we need a RB.

Fair enough. I'm not necessarily advocating it myself. Just throwing an idea out there given our woes in defence lately. As a right back on form he is amongst the best in the league and let's hope with the rest he gets back to those levels

The fear is he had dropped well below them levels before the injury will he have it in him to get back to them? We have missed his character in the team as much as anything.

His form dipped alarmingly last year. It is now 18 months since he played well for us.
Sagna can't attack.
I fear that we urgently need a good right back.
I wonder if it is worth having a look at Maffeo.
