The reality is , some fans like Bigblue will say statistically hes scored x out of z games but that only masks just how lacking the cunt is in other areas of his game - today he was fuckign woeful for most of the games chances that should have been put away.

We can get away with it against shitty Sunderland , but if you can't put those chances ( A FUCKING PENALTY AND A 6 YARDER) away against top opposition then you're fucked.

No way on GODS EARTH will Pep hold onto him..he will be sold within the same amount of time it takes me to fart on request.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I don't think Pogba, Stones and Griezmann are the 'Greatest' players we could sign. Extremely good yes, but that's the level we're at now. Only the very best will improve our side.

As for spending, we could probably get those 3 for £150m, and if we were to sell Kompany, Toure and Bony we could get at least £50m in return so a net spend of £100m. I think the improvement would be immense though once they settled in.

You'd rather we didn't improve the team?

I'd rather we build a team than try to assemble a bunch of 'Galacticos'.
I'd rather we build something with a bit more character than simply sucking up the most recent players to be hyped up and trying to mash them all together.
I'd rather we not make major signings every window, and let the latest set of mega signings (from just a few months ago) gel together and build a team.
I'd rather we look to our academy first and introduce a few youth players around a solid core.

Lol. Benteke was 32 million. Mangeler was 42 mil or so. Bony was 20 something. Come on, you know that 150 million for those 3 is not remotely close.

So to get to your evaluation of £250m how much are you valuing each player?

Vinny's latest injury breakdown has taken the gloss off from the overall team performance and up until the penalty miss it was a good performance from Bony.

But the players he's mentioned would improve us. Stones is hardly a Galacticos. And neither is Griezmann. There's only Pogba that's a 'massive' name.

Kolarov was brilliant today. KDB and Silva linked up very well. Shame Aguero couldn't get 10 because Vinnie went off.

When we signed Delph I was very underwhelmed. It's safe to say that he's proved me wrong. He's literally everywhere! He looks like he has a touch of class about him as well rather just a tackler. He wants to get involved in everything which is good to see.

great to see kevin doing so well, very solid performance, dave is back to his best too. Its a real sickner for vinny very unlucky hopefully its not too bad and he will bounce back, because we need him, some people writing him off, they need to relax, we need him.
Some of the defending today was poor again, against a better side it wouldn't have been as clear cut as the scoreline suggested.

Great first half and should have scored 5 , should have been better in the second if it was not for that donkey upfront.

KDB is pure class and Sterling was excellent.

Sergio had a problem but was on the bench , wtf!!

Piss Poor management of our striker situation in the summer and that is going to cost us.

Aguero was all over Instagram this morning showing everyone his new boots "for boxing day". I'm sure Sergio himself would know if he's not fit or there's a problem.

Somethings not right here.

The long and short of it is we won fairly easily and our opponents in the next game had a tough fixture in which they got nothing.

Regardless of the debate about who should of played and who should have scored or done this or that, I'd have taken the results all day long at the start of the day

Me too. It was also nice to see players that might have needed a confidence booster before the match have good games - Sterling, Kolarov, KDB, Silva. Onwards and upwards for our next match.
