I would have preferred another central midfielder in there. It doesn't look like much protection for the flimsy back 4. But what can MP do if they are injured.

The point about playing MDM is that he frees up Fernandinho to do more damage further up the pitch. As it is hell have to stay deep. MDM's lack of mobility is an issue though, I freely accept!

That's not a bad shout. Daft Martin is slowing down a bit though. We do lack a bit of pace tonight at the back with Clichy being out as well.
