MotM v Leicester

Postby Beefymcfc » Tue Dec 29, 2015 10:33 pm

Away from home, against a team like Leicester, I thought we played well. A few good performances but we gave the game up early.

Nice sensible thread Beefy !

No man of the match for me my vote goes to all the back four for actually keeping a clean sheet at last !

Leicester were bang average btw , we should have blown them away but in the context of this bizarre season happy with an away point ........... just !
Not really here

I agree Mangala was man of the match with mentions to both Sterling and Sagna.

Happy to give Sterling a mention as he was a threat but to get MotM he has to score or assist. I never actuallt felt either was likely.

After the first half I went for Sterling and the second half didn't change that. Manny did well but overall I thought Kev's bollox took it for me.he just brought something a little bit special.

Mangala. One of his best games for us by a mile. Kept vardy quiet and made 2 mistakes all game if memory serves. Was all over them when they tei s to get in our half and made some great interceptions.
Tracking back is overrated.

Agree, probably our best player first half but relatively anonymous in the second.
