Last away win in the Premier League, September.
We are on course to finish the season with a paltry 72 points based on our points trajectory. Pretty shocking with the squad Pellegrini has at his disposal.
I am not going to lie, and be a hypocrite, I cant wait for him to fuck off, he is killing us. We cant keep blame injuries for the regression all over the pitch. He brings absolutely nothing to the Table, A good manager makes the sum bigger, than the parts. He consistently brings us fuck all. His in game substitutions are also just as baffling. I accept players are not fully fit yet. But how can we justify finishing a game we want to win, with all our best players off the pitch.
This Season Premier League could potentially see a team lose 8, or 9 games, and still win the Title. What a poor quality league we have this year. There are no stand out sides. The fact we are only 3 points off the top, losing 5 games already and not winning away since September says it all. I cant remember the last time all the top sides look so ordinary. Even Spurs could be in with a realistic shout of winning the TItle.
Been bought the Mark Ward book for Christmas "Right Wing, to B-Wing". Going to give it read when I start de-toxing on January 2nd :-) has anyone else read it ?.
Would you rather we left Aguero and Silva stay on and risk overdoing it, get injured again and then leave us play the second half of this season nursing injuries to our best players?
Both did very little in any case when they were on, not that their replacements did much either.
We can all use hypothetical's.
Why then, does he keep starting players in games, that are not fully fit.
If Aguero ,Silva, are not fully fit. Then they should not be starting a game. They should brought on later in the game as impact substitutes. Nurse them to full match fitness. Instead of risking soft tissue injuries, over exerting unconditioned muscles beginning games at full throttle. players who have been out injured for weeks, should be introduced to games slowly.
My opinion, is it is Just another excuse to justify his in game substitutions that make no sense. Personally I don't think Pellegrini really gives a shit about the Premier League. He appears to be treating some of these games almost with contempt, especially if we have an upcoming Champions League game. He very rarely makes substitutions in Premier League games that improve our chances of winning them. Usually his in game substitutions have a negative impact on the game. We finished last nights game with Aguero, Silva, Sterling, on the bench. Our most creative players.
He was happy with a 0-0 draw. To him it was a good result. We have scored just 2 away goals, and not won away since last September in the Premier League. That is pretty astonishing. He is under achieving with one of the best squads in World Football. Grinding out 0-0 draws with Leicester, then bemoaning the fact we didn't win the game out right. Like he does pretty much every week these days.
I am counting down the days to this dullard being given the bullet.5 months and counting
