No way do I think he's better than Bony, and he's at too early a stage of his development to tell whether he ever will be. If we sign another forward this month, I'd even be tempted to send him to one of the top six Championship teams until the end of the season. Let him get some games and goals under his belt for a decent side like Boro or Brighton.
Bony gets a rough ride; some posters on this forum love to have a centre-forward to slag.

Bony has been absolutely shit this season.
Suggesting anything short of that is just being silly or contrarian.
Cheers

Bony hasn't been shit at all. He has a bit of a dodgy first touch at times and has fluffed some decent chances but he's been involved in a lot when he's played. He will only ever deputise to Aguero, but it's ridiculous to have him sit out games in favour of an untried teenager who may or may not turn out to be the bollocks. Iheanacho looks to carry a goal threat but Bony does a lot of important hard work.
Absolutely no coincidence that the same people who spent four years slagging Dzeko are now all over Bony.

Maybe he shouldnt be starting any game apart from a cup game which I think he did. But I do think he should have had more game time so far and I hope he does get more as the season continues.

Give one good reason why he should never start a game ?

I said he shouldn't be starting EVERY game.
Anyway he obviously shouldnt start in front of Kun and when he isn't fit it's probablty tight to start Bony with the experience he has and with the strength he has he will always cause problems even when he doesn't play well. Kelechi starting is obviously an option and I would have done that while Kun was missing and not just in the cup but we should not be putting too much pressure onto a player so young.
I see it as easy to bring Kelechi on as a sub whether for Bony or to add to the attacking unit and it's here where I think Pellers has missed opportunities.

I didn't spend an entirety of four years slagging off Jayko. Only when he was crap did I slag him off.
And my point to you was about Bony. He has been shit this season. End of story. His moments of worthwhile productivity have been few and far between.
I don't know what you're watching to think otherwise. People can use the stats and call him a full international striker all they want but it doesn't mean anything to me really. I know what I'm watching and it's an out of form striker who offers very little to make our squad better.
We can do much much better.
Cheers

I do agree that he probably should've been given more opportunities when Aguero was out but we don't know what goes on behind closed doors, Pellegrini may have a valid reason why he hasn't given him more playing time that we are not privy to.
