The media are responsible for a lot of them though. Jamie Vardy is one this year, a couple of years ago it was Michu & you only have to string a couple of decent games together if you play for Arsenal, Liverpool or U****d & the media will turn you into an over night sensation .
Wilshire is a good shout. Never quite understood the love in for Dalglish either. Scoring 1 in 3 for the best team in the land at the time who won the league year after year is hardly world class material. Remember Lee Dixon commentating on his return to the dippers when asked about him said "Dalglish? The best ever wasn't he?" No, Lee, he fucking wasn't.
I rate him as a player - or rather I rated him but that was before he became a cnut of a human being and developed questionable motivation. On his day he was one of the best attacking midfielders in the Prem.
