Bizarre media perceptions.

Postby john@staustell » Mon Jan 11, 2016 11:21 am

The media always amaze me in their lack of perception, appreciation or knowledge of anything to do with City.

One constant example is they were always screaming for QPR-failure Mark Hughes' head at City after 9 draws, mainly because he was at City of course. Ever since he was sacked it's been 'poor Mark Hughes, nasty old City' etc etc etc. Similar to an extent with Mancini.

This Guardiola thing takes it to new heights. Always adding the rider that the whole thing could be a load of BX - my perception is that discussions with Guardiola took place some time ago, almost to the point where it was arranged that he would come to us after a stint at Bayern. The whole scenario points to this, with the Barca connections etc. The likelihood was that, if Pellegrini wasn't aware of this when he joined it most certainly would come as no shock over the last year or so. Indeed it seems it was probably all thrashed out in the summer when Pelle was given an extra year to give the required stability, until Pep started resigning and stuff.

So when the daft media says millionaire Manuel might fear for his job, feels under pressure etc, what a load of baloney. It's more the scenario of a planned change of manager. Despite Pellgrini constantly hinting towrd this the daft pillocks still can't seem to grasp the concept.

Nasty old City.

Once again it's Samuel that has it spot on. He's one of very very few that talk the truth and aren't scared to stick up for us. Top man!

Said pretty much the same in the pep thread. Have you noticed how they're all saying Manuel is a decent human being all of a sudden!

I think they are genuinely scared of how big we're going to be, they all know it's coming but are in denial. "How can 'ickle city get the best manager ahead of nited" I hear Custis shout.

In 8 years we've gone from being a twentieth of the size of ushited to being 10 years ahead. the future is most definitely blue and I'm enjoying every fucking minute
