Unbelievable. Stunningly shit. I'd be fuming if that wasn't called in a sunday league and the ref was on the other side of the pitch.

Commentators on my feed were clear it was a penalty, their shock was Sterling not even blinking after it happened. Not even a look back at the ref. Terrible call, but show some heart Sterling.

He calls for it and he's labelled a cheat.

He can't win. He shouldn't have to make a meal for the rules to be adhered to.

Same way Aguero didn't when he was being dragged back in the box minuted before hand.

It's so disheartening.

They just do not want us to win this league. I don't know why, I don't know who stands to make money off it or what exactly is going on, but I know what I see and it's possibly even worse than the halfway Mark of our first prem title winning season.

Then everyone harps on about how we "barely" won it. Fucking some achievement when you think of what we had to overcome.

You would have thought with the amount of world class players we're trying to bring in, that the FA would want us to be up there, getting more people watching the Premier League.

It just doesn't make sense at all. I don't understand why they're being so obviously corrupt.

If we don't win it, I would love for Leicester to win it instead. Now that can't have been part of their plan either :).
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Same on my feed. Clear penalty. They got away with mauling our players all night with impunity.

Wasn't too unhappy with the performance. Thought we played well enough and were unlucky on the night. Not helped again by the decision making.
Terrible ref. Absolutely terrible.

If we don't kick up a fuss about that pen, they'll be looking to get my money when the season ticket renewals come out. We can't just keep taking it.

A good video out. Absolute stonewall penalty. Charlie Nicholas and Jeff Stelling both backed the referee. Fuck off the pair of you. Stones visibly relieved he got away with it.

We have to keep Silva and Kun fit though.

Stones was laughing at the final whistle. Literally laughing when the camera panned to him!

To be fair to Nicholas he's probably pissed. Was he slurring his words?

BBC website:

Everton survived a late penalty shout after John Stones appeared to foul Raheem Sterling. Danny Mills isn't impressed.

"You can see John Stones after the game laughing and joking.

"He knows he's got away with that one."

True, I haven't given up winning the league, but if we are getting clear penalties turned down and at a crucial times and not getting the wins the task becomes more difficult to build momentum.
