Sterling asked about the ball over the line incident. Basically said it doesn't matter, he crossed the ball, we scored and it's up to the linesman to give it. Then said it makes up for the penalty not given. The reporter then didn't know what to say.

not in the replays that I saw of it. Sterling made contact when part of it still hadnt crossed the far side of the line.

It looks out from the angle they keep showing, which is from a low camera, nowhere near the end line.
To be really sure you would need to see it from a camera high, directly over the ball, or at least level with the line.
They either haven't got one there or are choosing to show it from that angle.

Sky showed one long shot from somewhere level with the corner flag plus several closer shots from an angle and it didnt look out to me in any of them - I dont listen to domestic commentary from Sky/BT/ITV/BBC any more so no idea what they were saying about it during the match.
