If Pellegrini felt he was being undermined by Yaya he wouldn't just sit back and let it happen. See Riquelme at Villareal.

So who's going to be the first on this forum to say that about him the first time we lose two on the bounce next season?

My money would be on Carl if he didn't scare me so much, but it might be anyone except john@stausell or Alioune.

No he wasn't undermined in that sense, but his set up was based on Yaya and Yaya did not produce. Kind of like Sven-Göran Eriksson and Elano. No bad blood, but the team was built around them and it didn't work out.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

You were right first time! I've been a member of this board for about eight years and a lurker for another two or three on top of that. He can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Carl has ended up hating every manager we've ever had.

But can he do it on a Tuesday at Stoke?

Excellent news and having it out in the open will help the rest of the season - if a player wants to play under Pep, they've got 4 months to prove themselves. The fans know what's happening and can fully support Manuel for the run in. There's no point moaning, let's give him full, vocal support and leave Pep wondering how he's going to better a quadruple.

very interesting timing but i guess, as others have said, seeing Mrs. Pep at a manc school didn't help.

hopefully the players can get behind Manuel for the remainder of the season.

I think if I'd thought we had any bad managers I'd be first in the queue. But I think they've all been pretty good lately (since Pearce) and people tend to get very excited about the least thing.

it's as if no-one remembers Alan and Frank!

I had just said to my colleague that we wouldn't sign anyone on TDD, then this came out. Make me look an idiot again City.

I suppose it's okay to talk about Pep at last.

I would like to see Manuel become our man in South America.

Would not surprise me if the the terms of Pellers contract buyout term precludes him from managing an English team. These lads play chess.

The OS has gone into meltdown apparently. Surprising - it's not the first place I would look for news to be honest.
