I want that to happen just to see the dippers faces if we lineup against them with Sterling-Suarez

Our owner is far more important than him .

Nope, all about the groundsman for me. Can't play tikitaki in a mud pit

I don't recall him buying a very expensive player before, although I haven't found a website showing who bought who. So will he buy a Pogba or rather someone at the level of a Silva or Fernandinho when we got them and turn them into the player we need.

It's an interesting question. The other thing I wonder is whether he'd look to have a young English spine to the team, similar to how his Barça side provided the all-conquering Spain side with 7 or 8 of its starting 11.
This could be done over the course of 24 months or so, especially if he went for Stones, Barkley and - bit of a long shot- Kane & Alli this summer, and then waited to see who was next to burst on the scene. (Incidentally, I like Nathaniel Clyne and think we should've gone for him last summer).

Kane and Alli? Messi and Ronaldo would be cheaper than getting them two off Levy.
I've spent time enjoying watching Pep's teams play, but hadn't really paid attention to how he built them. As it's City, the press obviously think we're going to spend a fortune but it would be great if we could do it with the existing core of the team, some of our kids (Ian, Denayer, Angelino) and a few 'cheap' buys. Would piss the media off even more if they can't quote player prices at every opportunity.

For us, the fans, we need to stay sharp and understand that the club did not "cheat" Pellegrini. We hit the jackpot. US, not Chelsea, not scouse, not arse, or filth, US. Guardiola chose us, so the football media will try to put the whole football eyes attention on the: "Oh, City did not treat fair Pellegrini". They will do this even if he will not win anything this season, because they will consider this moment from yesterday as the reason of his possible failure.
As all of you, I read many tweets from football journo's that almost called a disgrace what happend yesterday. Again, WE HIT THE JACKPOT, we got the best manager of the world, the creator of the tiki-taka Barcelona, the man who does what he does at the moment in Germany and so on, He will open a lot of doors for us, and while some are not able to bring Texeira in (Liverpool), the likes of Neymar would listen to a possible offer for us.
In my opinion, in the summer we will get a really big player, all because of Pep.
Regarding Pellegrini, he was and always be The Count, the big man. I am sure he had the best time here and all the respect in the world for the club. If you do not believe that and think even one second the club was not fair with him, look at how Bob Manc speaks about us and always reffer at City as: ~us-
More than ever now, the count will want to go out with a bang. Hope the players will react as champions towards a man that did very best with them
Take a bow, Mister Pellegrini,
YOU LEGEND

Silva may actually be a problem for Guardiola, though not for the reason Murphy suggests.
Guardiola's system of players holding a position and waiting for the ball will not work well with Merlin as he roams the pitch seeking space, particularly when he nominally starts in a wide position. Does he accommodate him in the centre or make him stay wide?
it's a legit question.
I'm sure by now we've all see Terry Henry's breakdown of how Pep let them play. i would love to see some Silva heatmaps in the middle third of the pitch to know how much of a challenge what Henry described will be for el Magico.
Nasri certainly won't have a problem with keeping his chunky lesbian ass in one space and waiting for something to happen.
Delph, and Fern will flourish with Pep. In fact, Delph could turn into a little Pepito and boss the whole fucking show. English Iniesta. No joke. He's a million percent more suited to Pep than Yaya, obvs. Can't wait to see this happen.
How does it feel Soccs to finally get the last puzzle piece of your "English Barcelona" in place?
cheers
It's not really a legit question at all. Dave and Pep are two of the best in the world at the respective jobs. I'm sure that they are willing (and very eager) to collaborate together. If Pep wants Dave to not run as much to get the ball, I'm sure Dave will be ok with that. Silva is very, very intelligent and to suggest that he will have a problem adapting to Pep (or vice versa) is just nonsense.
And if by "Engligh Iniesta" you mean a cheap knockoff then sure, maybe. Iniesta is head, shoulders, and 1000 miles above Delph. I know we all love Delph, but bring it in a bit.
If anything I would've thought from our current squad that Silva ( or Nasri ) is best suited to the Iniesta role.
I wonder if Pep told KDB to sign for City, I thought Bayern had an agreement to sign him before we came in for him!!

'If I was to return to England, it would be to play for Liverpool - not for any other team.
