Leicester will definitely be up for it - I sure hope our boys are as well.

I just hope Leicester take a just as negative approach as they did in the away game. They didn't create a chance for 90 minutes and were lucky to hold on to a point. That suits us much better than having them run at us like rabid foxes.

My favourite:

Don’t get any bigger than this.. A draw would be a great result… But we could beat them.. 0-1..vardy from 85yards!
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

You make a good point, and got me thinking. I keep most of the comments I collect on my laptop, so these are what I have from our last meeting last season. The date on the folder is 03/03/15 ...

I think it's pretty clear how you have to play if you want to have a chance to get anything out of a game against Man City. Barcelona did it, Liverpool did it and Hull did it. You have to play high tempo and close their midfield down quickly and hunt in packs. Stand off them like we did against Everton and they will pick out Aguero and Dzeko or Bony and we will be in trouble. For that reason I would resort to 4 at the back and stick 5 in midfield to stop them playing. Mahrez would have to go because he just isn't prepared or equipped to play that sort of game.

What do we think lads? Another good performance against a big side with no result?

0-1 win. The ultimate away performance

Shock win, we have to get 3 points sooner or later

1-0 - simply because we are due a win. They would've played 2 high profile demanding games and will have one eye on their upcoming games. Also, after yesterdays results and the games teams around us are playing it makes you think "what if".

We'll probably play well with the defensive 5 man defence, maybe nick a draw or a defeat by the odd goal. Then line up exactly the same home to Hull for a routine 0-1 defeat
.
4-0 Man City for me I'm afraid, we haven't traveled well, and same sort of performance as the Man U game

Man City's defence looks shit, Riyad and Kramaric can cause them all manner of probs on Wed if we go at them

They have had a couple of tough games in the past week, including today's game. This will be our best chance to get something.

Just need to go at them like we did at Liverpool and Chelsea. Can't be doing with another Manchester United (away) performance where we refused to cross the half way line.

We will adapt our level of performance to be just slightly below that of our opponents, like virtually every other game this season...Man City 2-1 Leicester

Call me mental but I can see a shock win. Our tails went up a little at Everton and Burnley and Middlesbrough in the cup have shown the Etihad isn't the fortress it once was. The most backs-to-the-wall 1-0 win you've ever seen. Kramaric to score.

Think we can a result here. They are off form a bit and we are fresher physically with no pressure on us

They lost today so we'll get the backlash.

Reckon we can take these fookers

This is an ideal game for the 541 or 343 however you want to see it. Pack it out in the middle, no space for Silva, Nasri etc. Despite the recent run and others picking up points we're still just a win away from being back in it so even a point is a huge bonus. Hamer back in and absolutely anyone to replace Schlupp, apart from that keep it the same.

Can't decide whether Liverpool beating them is in our favour or not...On the one hand it puts massive pressure on them not to drop points against us, and they don't seem to handle pressure yhat well...The flip side of that though is that Man C's players will be fired up not to lose again.....Basically, if they drop points to us then that's season over for them, barring an absolute implosion on Chelsea's part!

Burnley and hull have both drew at the etihad so we should take some inspiration from that,I fancy a 1-1 meself.

These are prone to a slip and we do have a knack of making it harder for teams like them than they'd like it, which someone like say... Newcastle, wouldn't. I think it's got 2-0 loss on this one though unfortunately. Not necessarily backlash (I remember similar being said before Arsenal absolutely trounced us 2-1) but just more quality. We are badly due another win, mind.

Much like our trip to Old Trafford following our home thrashing of Man Utd.... Man City will surely be motivated like never before following their own disastrous week..This battle will be won or lost in midfield, so I don't think our now favoured back 5 will help us out here and a switch to 451 (or one of its many variations) is called for, Kram is in a different class to Vardy when it comes to be a lone forward (as he was in the reverse fixture)

Man City are absolutely shit, no joke, they are shit. ..Kompany is shit, Dzeckkooko is wank, that Argentinian old man is worse than Morgan, the manager looks like a knackered old owl and they play in a ****ing gopping kit...3 points and a reach around from that ugly **** Nasri.

Its got to be great to be a Leicester fan at the moment, I am loving the way they have approached this season. They have been very lucky with their injuries, but so were we in 2012.

Its going to be a game where they let us have the ball all we want and hit us on the break, I dont want is to put in any long corners I want to take it short and work it out and back in on the floor. Stop their tactic of leaving 3 up when we have a corner, to try and catch us on the break.

Clichy needs to start over Kolarov as Vardy loves to drift out to the right. We need to show Mahrez on his right all the time as he doesnt have a right foot.

If We dont win the league this year, then its Leicester for me.

Getting nervous about this one. In theory we should win this comfortably. But the pressure is on us to reel them in.

Looking forward to this. It will be interesting to see if they change their style against us. I hope that they do as some of their fans suggest & go balls out and come at us should make for a great game.

It shows their inexperience at this level that someone thinks it will be a title decider in February!

I'm gonna wait until tomorrow morning when I have a nice cup of coffee and breakfast ready. Gonna be a good start to the day, good way to get in the mood for the game.

Thanks again for these

Not sure if this will make sense to anyone, but reading their comments I am feeling as nervous as if this is our biggest game of all time! My brain obviously knows that this is not the case but my heart is beating slightly faster than usual.

I think I'm with a lot of the Leicester fans in that I think we can win but would take a draw. Important not to lose further ground on them

It's a great story for Leicester. Not just this season but all of 2015. Our injuries will certainly help them. MP says we only have 14 fit players....I assume this means Delph is still injured but he didn't say.
