As shockingly biased anti City commentary Ive heard in many a year. "City need a spark" did he not realise we were playing the 3rd best team in the league, who beat us at their ground. I always refer to Man City - but when we are playing a team other than another CITY, we should be referred to as City. I never hear the scum referred to as Man Utd by commentators during a game

Presumably if only one team had Manchester in its name it would be called Manchester. Note that I didn't say two teams "from" Manchester............... :-)
