Sadly, in Romania you can see Galatasaray on tv because there are a turks that live here and I saw 13 from 17 games. He was dreadful, calamity and so on.

The kid has no soul in him, no desire to prove anything. It would be a huge mistake to have him back.

What position is he playing and what exactly is calamitous?

Central Back on the left, like Mangler does at us and the Otter when Vinnie is fit. Hard to describe, have you seen Rekik at Marseille?

Well, worse than that. He started just 6 games, the rest, he came in as a sub. Saw him with Rizespor, they lost 4-3, 4 mistakes. He had a injury, they forced him to play with Besiktas, he got injured 10 minutes before the kick off. The rest of the games, very, very, very fragile and careless, like Yaya.

Plus the Champions League performance, with Astana he was pure comedy. Slow, fragile, etc, and this is weird, because he is a fit lad, solid one actually.

His only + would be that he had 2 or 3 assists. As I said, he does not take this loan as a chance to come here as a starter, he actually is taking a piss. He makes Chediou, his partner, ex player of Lille ... B, look stellar.

As well as me trusting in the coaches, I also sometimes think it was only me that noticed all Real's goals came through him in the summer friendly - right through the centre.

Yes it was only a friendly and yes Humphries was playing etc etc etc. But at least 3 were direct 1 on 1 tussels involving Denayer.

That may well have been the reason he is now on loan again. Confirmed the staff's suspicions.

The decision to send Denayer away and bet on MDM for another season is proving more and more shite as the season progresses. We might have been as bad with Denayer today, I honestly don't know, but it can't have been much worse.

I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

He starts today versus Lazio.

Keep you posted how he is playing.

Min 18 - Amazing tackle against Matri. He was the last defender and took the ball from the italian. No way a penno.

Min 20 - 1-1, but after a mistake from Donk and Djourou. HE IS PLAYING RIGHT BACK, Wing Back actually. Took me a while, he started as a central defender and after 15 minutes, he was moved on the side.

Min 43 - Really good cross, but they missed.

Overall, good half, but he stayed back, very Sagnaesque.

The only moment so far in the second half was a verbal discussion far from friendly with the ref, Oliver.

Min 66 - Huge mistake, Matri lost him on the way and almost scored.

Min 88 - sensational cross for Bulut, but he missed. Best chance for Galatasaray.

Any thought that maybe the mediocrity of his performances at Gala are down to the manager and the league? Maybe hes not being held accountable. Maybe he looks down upon the league, his teammates, and his opposition. No idea. I never liked the idea of sending him to Turkey though

It has finished.

Overall, he had a good game, but because he was used as a right back. I am sorry to say, but he is not a center defender. Huge improvement on this position, he looked very natural, speed and really good crosses.

After Muslera and Donk, he was their best player.

Things are finally looking good, but on a different position than the one we want him.

we could use some fucking fullbacks.

I would love some classical fucking defending fullbacks and not some shite attacking cunts who can't defend for shit.

cheers

Good run down.

i'll be interested to see how he and our other centrehalves go under Pep. At least they'll have a midfield playing in front of them.

Agree with doomy. We will be in the market for fullbacks anyway.

He is playing again tonight, but this time as a CB.

Weird.

Min 10. - He is marking Matri and has big problems with him.

Min 13 - Same as last week, he was moved as a right back. This might be the weirdest tactic I ever saw.

Min 25 - Very Solid performance so far. The ”mighty” Felipe Anderson is dominated by our lad.

Min 56 - More of the same, but Galata has a lot of spaces now. They need to score and they stepped up the tempo. Plus, in this second half, Denayer is facing Candreva.

Min 59 - 1-0 Lazio. They scored with a header after a corner.

Min 61 - 2-0 Lazio, Anderson scored. They changed his position and the fucker scored.

Min 62 - 2-1 Fuck me, what a game.

Min 72 - 3-1 Klose scored after a pass from the left. Denayer went in the middle and left Radu alone to pass.

It finished, they are out.

He had a decent game, he looks a lot like Sagna on that position, but is hard to survive when you have a team that looks like a foster home. Huge mistake sending him there.

So overall, the kid shows that he is stepping up his level, but only as a RIGHT BACK. As a CB, he is very very insecure.

I've said it before but if the club thought he was in any way up to it, at nearly 21 he would be in our squad this season and not MDM, who is clearly of pensionable age.

The fact that Mangala was asked by City whether he wanted to join Valencia on loan last summer suggests that Denayer was definitely strongly considered to be part of the squad this season.
