Shady game, to be fair.

This is their first official game this year. They played a shitload of friendlies with mediocre opponents, the only real game they had was with Malaga and they lost with 2-0.

And they will play Shovkovsky who is 41. If you are stopped by a 41 year old keeper, then you don't deserve to be in this competition.

I am confident we will win our next two games.

CL is the priority this season - expet to see that reflected in the effort on the field tonight.
Liverpool are hopeless, Klopp is a one trick pony with average players and it is a cup final so we will put the effort in.

Different times and different type of keepers, mate.

Tomaszewski was class, If I recall, he was the best gk in the world in 1974 or 1970, after one amazing World Cup.

Shovkovsky is/was a really good penalty stopper, but at his age and the level of the game today, it would be hard for him to keep up. Remember what goal Kola scored past him and that was 5 years ago when he was 37.

I don't doubt anything you write. Cloughie in an interview suggested he was a clown and the bugger had one hell of a game keeping England out at Wembley and as a consequence England failed to qualify for the World Cup.

By mentioning his age i hope he really doesn't hurt his back bending over to pick the ball out of the net a few times.

We've got the players, all nice & rested as well, we've got the ability & we've got every incentive but sadly at the minute when teams have a go & ask us questions we don't seem to be able to respond. The reasons for which are well documented.

This is my round about way of saying I'd be happy with a draw because this won't be as easy as some people think.
