Well the extra referee that gives advice on the Austrian TV ORF1 stated cleary that two penalties should have been given ( not Sterling , but Silva and Ferd1).

I don't know how you can classify giving the ball away four times on the trot ( and that was in the first 20 minutes) as doing a good job. He was dross tonight.

I think most would agree, two of the three penalties should have been given. Add 2-3 glaring misses and we should have been 6 or 7 to the good.
Not vintage but definitely a step in the right direction.
Now there's a job to be done on Sunday.
