I'd rather lose a title than my word

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I'd rather lose a title than my word

Is the difference between Pellers and 99% of the populations. On days like this, good guys win.

I honestly hope we can convince him to retire and keep him on as a club ambassador to his dying days.

What a class act.

Don't think he will retire and don't think we will retain him in another capacity. He will be managing at another club next season.

A lot of people, last week, were saying stuff about him that he really didn't deserve.

I think he has his faults, but the thruth about him is he was the manager we needed after Mancini. He may have taken us as far ad he can, but it's a bloody good trophy haul. He instilled a lot of values into the team that needed doing.
He steadied the ship. And won along the way.
I think/hope Pep is the man to take us on the next stage of the journey.

I have nothing but respect for Pellers though. Who knows, he might have more to come, yet.

I respect pellers. I respect anyone who has morals and sticks by them, but at the end of the day willy guessed right and we won the cup.

If it was my choice i would have hart in net.

As would all of us, but Pellers doesn't warrant some of the stuff said about him, even though I understand s lot of us write what we do, in the heat of the moment because of our passion.

It's alright. It's good to be passionate, but sometimes I think we could learn from the integrity of the man, whether we agree with his squad choices or not.

It's a good day for him and Willy. We all know it could have gone horribly wrong, but it didn't.
We played better than they did, but didn't bury them.
You don't always get justice, but justice was done, in my book.
Willy winning, was written somewhere.

Total respect for Pellegrini and your comments are spot on.

This charming man.

Could we have won more in the past 3 years? Possibly.

Could we have won what we did with anymore style and dignity than we have? Not for my money. Winning the right way is so often overlooked. I love this man.
Tracking back is overrated.

It was a big gamble but in the end it paid off for him and Willy. Very happy that it did !!
