I have slated Willy's inclusion and Pellers' selection of him. It may seem like I should apologise but I only did it to keep them on their toes. I hope they appreciate it. Will they thank me?....will they fuck.

If we hadn't of slagged them off then they wouldn't have performed.

That is all I have to say.

I would still sack Pellegrini to be honest.

looking back objectively and leaving the joy of winning the trophy out of it, it was still the wrong decision. obviously it paid off and Willy almost single-handedly won us the trophy with those penalty saves after doing virtually nothing all match (that last part isn't a knock), and fair play to him, that was great skill. but the best predictor for future behavior is past behavior and Willy's past behavior had shown him to be inconsistent and, frankly, not that great (but decent).

i will admit to my rash assumptions that if it went to pens Willy couldn't save enough for us to win and that humble pie tastes just fine today.

cue the insults. i dont mind.

I could not have been more wrong. Those penalty saves were fantastic. Well done sir

I should think so. I personally was as wrong as wrong could be. Well done Manuel. Apologies and well done Willy. And here is to winning the league.

I was with everyone else in thinking Joe should play especially after the poor effort against Chelsea but I did say before today's game that it was actually Joe who let the 4 in against Liverpool this season so maybe Willie is the man!
