Surely the match is technically over as soon as he scores.

Not bitter are you Alan? Fuck off

hope his car breaks down on the way home and he gets the keegan treatment. I suppose its wishful thinking expecting him to drive though, as hes so fucking fat he probably gets airlifted out of the ground

He didn't really say that did he? I know he is a dick but surely he wouldn't be so stupid as to say that at that moment.

My thoughts exactly. No way did he say that.

Who gives a fuck? We beat the scouse scum and the bent ref. Come on you blues!

Well the ref and Sterling made sure that we do it the hard way ! After the scouse scored, I couldn't take it any more and it was already past 4 in the morning here on the Gold Coast. So I decided to go to bed (not that I could sleep for maybe an hour) and wake up in the morning and see what happened which would have made taking a bad result easier. Luckily that was not the case and we made it ! Onwards and upwards City.

Now let's give it to them hard on Wednesday to revive our League challenge !

Good morning nice feeling winning. Have the National grid kept the Lights off in dipper pool. Sterling and the ref made it a game when we could have destroyed them.

Sterling played well outside of his finishing. But the pressure of the situation got the kid. I think he'll win a cup or two on his own before his time with us is done.

Loved the win, hated the way we had to do it in the end. We should of had them dead and buried by that point with the chances that we made but the end result is all that matters.

We need to take that mentality through to Wednesday now. Finish a couple of those chances off and we can kick start our title push

I've said it so many times this season. The problem is 100% NOT the defence, whoever is in it

It is the finishing.

Jimmy got a losers medal, shame sterling didnt seal the win with the glaring chance to rub it in, he looked pretty happy afterwards though

I thought it was moderately amusing and ironic he ended the game at left back. Probably because of his lamentable creativity up front.

Just watching it now without the alcoholic haze. We should have buried the f@@kers inside 90 minutes. It could and probably should have been more emphatic than what they did to us last time out. Here's hoping we put our chances away on Wednesday.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I'm skiing in France. Only just sobered up from Sunday night!

Watched it in some bar with my mate. Plenty of Liverpool fans that turned nasty when one of them shouted 'fuck off Sterling' and I asked why there wasn't a scouse accent between them, they got abusive, I offered several of them out, no one took me up on my offer and we carried on in to the night celebrating.
