On NJM the commentator claimed Silva gave away his League Cup final, to M Garcia, as he deserved it more.

Surely Garcia got his own medal after playing and scoring in the early games?!

After a quick look around, it seems only 16 medals are made for players (plus five for staff), unless specifically requested by the club. Additional medals are paid for at the club's expense. I'm not sure whether they have to order them before or after the game, though.
