Almost that moment of the year.
Who is he?
I am going with Mahrez. I am not sure if he is a season wonder or a world beater, but he looked amazing this year. Who is you pick?

Rashford.......But if not him then.
Kante. But he will not win as he doesn't score all the goals.

Payet
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Mahrez or Payet.
Mahrez is an absolute steal at £375,000.

Best striker in the world right now according to me and a bunch of eight year olds.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"
"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I think Kolarov just pips him, although Clichy did have that one performance against the club bottom of the league that Messi would be proud of.

Yeah, but Messi defends worse than Aguero.

PL: Mahrez
City: Fernandinho. If Aguero keep scoring, playing as he has of late and stay fit then he can pass him. he missed quite a few games, so going with Fern1 for now. Hart, and Sagna (first half of season) also getting decent shouts.

There was someone called Martial who was supposed to be POTY.
For City is go for Fern1. For the PL I'll go for Danny Drinkwater. I think he'd make a decent signing for us. Mahrez and Vardy get the headlines but for me, he is the main force behind Leicester this season.

I was thinking of this yesterday as well. Mahrez and Payet are the standout candidates but sofu's suggestion Kante is definitely one who deserves a mention.
I can't look past Mahrez though assuming Leicester doesn't completely fall apart and why would they
And Fern1 from City but that deserves its own thread tbh

Payet for me. He's a player I'd pay to watch.
Fernandinho for us seems a lock at this stage. Unless somehow agueros goals fires us back up the table.
Tracking back is overrated.

Alderweireld has been good for Spurs.
The short fat guy for Stoke has been pretty great as well, but too inconsistent, just like the whole team.
