from the OS

City's reward for overcoming Dynamo Kyiv in the Last 16 is a quarter-final showdown with PSG.

Manuel Pellegrini's side will take on the conquerors of Chelsea away from home in the first leg, with the second leg taking place at the Etihad Stadium.

The first leg will mark the second competitive meeting between the sides after they drew 0-0 in the UEFA Cup back in 2003.

Dates and more information to follow...

It would have been too much to ask for Barca to draw Bayern or Real

Great that we meet them at home in the last leg. Keep tight in the first leg (who am I kidding, I know) and maul them at the Etihad (I know, who am I kidding). Ok, so a 0-0 in Paris and a fantastic run across the pitch and goal from Yaya in the final minutes at the Etihad.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I'm very happy with that draw. Of course Benfica or Wolfsburg look easier on paper, but at least we avoided Bayern, Barca and Real.

And for the record: I'm not conflicted in any way ;-)

I wonder how the travelling scouse fans will react when the yellow wall starts belting out YNWA before the game.
