Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I see there are one or two stories kicking around that Shanghai City is imminent. Can't post the links from my phone but its on Newsnow.
Both Melbourne and New York were preceded by similar rumours/leaks

How would that work/conflict with Melbourne, considering they're in the same confederation, when it comes to AFC Champions League?

I think its only UEFA that has silly rules like that. Can you imagine UEFA trying to run Asian businesses? LOL

Surely there must be something against it - otherwise what's to stop gambling syndicates buying a team from, say, Laos and Bangladesh, and cashing in every few years if they meet up? Or would matches between teams with identical/related owners be declared null-and-void for betting purposes?

Do they own a club already in the UAE? If they do and that's been allowed to happen for two years, it should make no difference.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

That's not part of the City Football Group, though, so it's not a direct conflict of interests. However, there#s Yokohama and Melbourne in the same confederation, so I assume it's kosher.
