Not all that funny. He'll be back on Monday Night Football quicker than you can say Thierry Henry.

Great news, made my week. When he is next analysing a game and tells us all what the manager should be doing, I can just point at the TV and laugh.

RatBoy cunt.

Sadly this experience will make him a shitter pundit and it's the only thing I've appreciated about him.

What a fucknut. That pic of the fans flipping him the bird is classic. What a shit job being the gaffer is when you're on a bad run.

Cheers

This. He's a twat but he gave it a go. He deserves some credit for that. I wish he'd been a success to be honest as it might have encouraged more young British managers to seek employment abroad.

Funny that he failed, but respect for being brave enough to attempt to do such a top job. He's just a bloke Neville, not an arsehole media type. He's your dickhead rag neighbour.

I agree. Very few British managers manage abroad so fair play to him for giving it a go.

Before he took the job though, he was a very good pundit (regardless of who he supports/played for). If he returns to that, his reputation will have been harmed slightly but his analysis of the game as a pundit was better than almost all others out there so I'd rather have him back there, than listening to Henry or the Liverpool fan club on BT Sport.

This is true, he needs to return to put that dickhead carragher back in his kennel. He is a tright prick and has got infinitely worse now Neville isn't there to call him out on his bullshit.

"The contribution of Negredo, in particular, will be a source of great frustration for Neville, with the former Manchester City striker missing a series of glorious opportunities during his first few weeks in charge, especially in a 1-0 home defeat against Sporting Gijon which led to the first major signs of supporter dissatisfaction."

Didn't take long for them to blame City. The Beeb will be making a new programme about the great 3 games that RatBoy won.

They'll always find a way.

Sorry to go off topic but I even noticed the rag bias when reading their live text for the Newcastle v Sunderland game last week, they were desperate for Sunderland to beat Rafa.

FACT!

The Beeb has always been a Rag lover but the current set-up is ridiculous. Every game they can get, numerous Rag documentaries and their football pages set to Rag worship, it's becoming more and more difficult for me to even go there for info on us.

You'd have thought they might want to report on the fact that they've been shit for a few seasons now but no, they brush it over in favour of getting clicks from the gullible Rag cunts.

I disagree, nothing 'brave' about it. The chairman was his mate, the job was well paid, he was not reliant on it financially and he can still return to punditry or give management at a lower level a go if he pleases. Or just retreat from football for a while or for good without major repercussions. Brave? Fuckin' hell.

Ambitious, yes. Naive, yes. Stupid, borderline. Brave, fuck no.

My sympathies are with the Valencia supporters above all, not this muppet who figured he can bite off more than he can chew.

Also: Sky is the limit for Gary Neville. (nicked from twitter)

And word is Pellegrini a frontrunner to be the long term replacement. He did say he wants to stay in the Prem though didn't he? Hard to see where he could go with Chelsea going with Conte. Seems a logical fit for him to return at this point. His stock has been dropping, paricicularly in England, so he must know his options will be limited if he wants to go to a top/close to top level club.
