Next: Bournemouth

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Normally, I would expect a dreadful performance against Bournemouth (because it is the PL and who cares) and a committed performance against
PSG (because its the CL and it matters to the players).

Now, bizarre I know, I think we will see a run of committed performances (in both PL and CL) because:

1. they will not want to finish outside the top 4. That is for certain - to many with to much to lose and no margin for error
2. committed performances are a given in the CL
3. the returning players. Brown and Nasri are pure class. Delph fills a need. They all have everything to play for - they could do well with Pep.

All 3 points have been valid all season, yet...

Can he risk Kun, long trip back. I do not have a clue what will happen and how the caretaker will set up.

Robert fucking Madley

My fucking lord, there's being stitched up and there's 'Doing a Madely'. I think this will be the 4th or 5th time we've had him this season and he's been like an extra player for the opposition. His farcical decisions and lack of authority just turn games to shit; if we hadn't already done that. The Hammers and Everton games spring to mind, not giving a stonewall penalty and allowing them to kick us off the park. Even the games we won under him were dodgy as fuck.

If it happens again we need one of ours to take the cunt out. At least we'd have a chance with 10 men whilst he's off the pitch.

We need to start winning again. It would be a catastrophe for the club to end up outside the top-4. And for me personally I fear a fucking funeral atmosphere when I'm over for the Stoke game with nothing to play for and too early for people to be proper drunk.

Given the internationals etc I was wondering if the following would work, bearing in my the oppo::
Willy
Zaba otter Mangala Clichy
Fern 2
Fern 1 Yaya Kolarov
Silva
Nacho or Serg

I'm assuming Yaya is fit.

I'd be fine starting Nacho if Sergio isn't 100% but Bony will always start ahead of Nacho. Pellegrini has made that perfectly clear.

Silva shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11. He's been abysmal for ages now.

id like to see:

Willy
Zaba Otamendi Mangala Clichy
Fern 1 Fern 2
Navas Silva Kolarov
Aguero

or switch Kolarov for Nacho and go 4-2-2 but Bony will always play ahead of Nacho.

Bench of:
Gunn
Nasri
KDB
Bony
Iheanacho
Sagna
Tosin

With a few of the kids being left out of the EDS team today, we could see any of the 2 garcia's, Tosin or Humphreys,

Too predictable, also why play two wingers when there's no one to aim crosses at?

I'd go with both KDB and Nasri starting with Kelechi behind Aguero. Give us some fresh attacking impetus.

Pick their slowest center back and leg it past him seems to be a good tactic

Another fucking horror show looming tomorrow for us on the south coast . Loads of injuries so another half arsed effort to preserve what we have left player wise for the trip to Paris where we will be embarrassingly torn apart and become the Premier Leagues laughing stock .

I just can't fucking wait for this season to end !

I so badly wish that you're wrong mate but I did stop at the off licence on my way home to get spirits as I have a feeling I'll need those come 5pm tomorrow

Put all available players numbers in a hat. Draw out eleven and take it from there. Tactically, it can't be much worse than we have seen recently.

Think Manuel will throw Nasri and/or KDB in the starting lineup due to injuries?
Cant see him doing it with Kevin. He'll prob get 25-30 and then start vs PSG
