Hopefully the PL stars are Vardy, Kane and Ozil and all their goals and assists for the season are recinded...

We all know PEDs must be rife in football but frankly no one will care.

With this Dr, there will be other Dr's with other clubs. Arsenal have been mentioned before, strange coloured liquids injected into Paul Merson, the club said it was simple multi-vitamin. Merson also said that caffeine tablets were handed out before kick off.

Seems they've implicated Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester, amongst others. Dodgy Doctor administers drugs or possible blood transfusions, similar to what Armstrong had done.

Looking souly at Chelsea and Leicester, you could probably say there is some shadow of truth due to their lengthy runs of fitness for the 1st teams last season, for Chelsea, and this, for Leicester. Look at Chelsea at the start of this season, slow as hell with the entire 1st team looking very jaded. Was this the aftermath of the above?

Or could it be that the media are looking for an angle to explain this season's unprecedented rise of relegation threatened Leicester, using the dodgy Doctor to sell a story?

Either way, it will have to investigated thoroughly and then brushed under the carpet to save the integrity of the PL.

Money talks.

The last two statements are spot on, they did exactly the same with Operation Puerto - cycling was the fall guy & the other sports, football, tennis etc were not investigated further

Of course there are drugs in footy. I don't think any top level athlete ISN'T on dope. Sad, but true. Also think the big guns are protected, as they bring too much money into sport. Armstrong was protected by the UCI, until he pissed off the wrong people and thought he was untouchable.

Leicester have had a remarkably injury-free season. K8ind of reminds me of our title winning season under Bobby Manc when we avoided injuries for almost the whole of it. (wasn't that the same season Bob sent Tevez to Italy for 'specialist' medical treatment?)

This I agree with.
But what I find sad is that why they can't just be open about it as people use PED's anyway?

Bit late for the April fool mate. Why would he need them for 10 minutes every other week?

Andre Agassi won Wimbledon on amphetamines. The LTA knew this. Read his book.

Just look at the latest tennis drug escapade. The authorities knew Sharapova was taking a certain drug, understanding that it enhanced her performance yet did fuck all about it until she was nearly past it. They do what suits and it suited them to have her in tennis for the glamour.
