come on alex, you cannot be surprised, you have read the same shit for years. Leave him alone in his own world, he likes it there, everyone agrees with him and he is never wrong. bless.

Apologies, drawn out of me by wankers. But come on Alex, even you must be impressed by the improvement in the messiah's own players since he was replaced?

I don't recognise "the messiah", and I don't recognise dramatic improvements even accounting for "new manager syndrome".
Jury's out until we face serious opposition and I'll be a lot happier when the we stop turning off for 15 minutes at a time. I believe his big thing is "concentration" and hope he can drill it into them.
Liked the look of Garrido and Richards last night though. Born again?
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Like I say, big improvements in form of many players. People keep going on about serious opposition. Every game is worth 3 points, we are now beating the supposedly frivolous opposition we couldn't beat before. And without breaking much of a sweat...

believe me they're making me sweat. there have been long spells in each game when we have looked VERY vulnerable.
That we've only conceded once is good but also surprising. Remains to be seen if its down to Mancini, luck or new manager syndrome.
If you think we're getting these points at a canter then we're watching different games. And we weren't the only ones who found Brum and Burnley hard to beat.

Hull? Bolton? As for Burnley, they hadn't even scored a goal away from home, let alone got a point, before they played us. And Birmingham were without their best player against us:)

Wow, it was only a joke Mr Johnny Foreigner.
here you are bouncing around this thread reminding everyone why you are no longer a mod.
Chill out old man, I hope you're right about Mancini, but you're even more arrogant than I thought if you think you've already proven that.

No, the Brum that drew those teams had their best player. He couldn't play against us under Premier League rules :p

With a full squads worth of very expensive players, a few injuries shouldn't worry us. In fact we have more players missing now than then and suddenly seem to be coping...

Winner by some margin. In fact, sporting quote of the decade.
Journalist: Right Peter, what would you be now had you not become footballer?
Peter Crouch: Virgin.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
