and I saw a tweet U18's beat dippers 2-0 to continue their 100% record in league. Impressive if true considering we're at the business end of the season!

See the EDS thread for full details on yesterday's youth games. U15s also won their league/cup

Not seen it yet, but a bad miss like this in a derby will be a good learning experience for him. Every player in every position fucks up at some point but how they respond is important. Aguero v PSG and then yesterday is his benchmark.

I've never known who to root for when it comes to Celtic and Rangers. As a kid I've always had Celtic and Republic of Ireland kits bought for me from my mums side of the family. But I don't agree with their IRA shit and I've always thought historically City and our fans have had more of an connection with Rangers.

Ah well fuck um both!

The whole time at Celtic will be great experience for him and nothing more so than playing in an old firm game. Shocker of a miss but these things happen and it's how you respond to it that matters. He is clearly one of the best if not the best Celtic player and it still disappoints me that he is there for next season as well. Not sure he needs that.

Impressed by Rangers and the confidence they are showing on the ball.

It wasn't Ronnie Rosenthal, but was a poor miss. Basically he tried to hard to make sure the keeper couldn't get back and missed the empty net.

But I agree, it'll be a great experience for him, especially if Celtic lose. Can he ignore the miss when the next chance comes or can he even grab this game and show what he can do? Couldn't give a shit about the result but I'm happy for anything which improves him

Being Irish Mase, you're force fed that Celtic are for all intents and purposes., an Irish Club , by proxy. But they're not. They're Scottish. They have their roots in Irish immigrants, but I could never take to throwing my support behind them.
For me the two of them Rangers and Celtic are so sectarian that I really couldn't have an interest in either, whatever my background was.
I used to hate seeing Celtic jerseys at an Ireland match and have argued with those that do it through the years. They always come back with the same shite, that it's the same. It's not. It's no different to some assholes turning up with Rags Jerseys on.
I've seen that too, but they quite rightly got dogs abuse.

I don't dislike Celtic but hate all the phoney Irish Nationalism baggage that goes with them. But I suspect thst that's worse with their Irish fanbase than it is in Scotland itself.
