I think the more impressive thing about Nacho is not his talent, but his ability to get involved and make himself available in decisive situations.

He is not afraid to be involved.

Who says Joe isn't good on the ball? Pulled a move then picked out a teammate on the halfway line

Was thinking earlier that he take risks that other city players don't take anymore. Perhaps that's why we stopped creating as many chances as normal.

good to see Imbula is confirming my assumption about Porto ruining the passing skills of its non-skill players

Agree, but think another thing he's great at is combining with other players around him. For the goal he pulled a move to get around a few players, then a 1-2 with Yaya in very close spaces in the box.

Skill + good team play, think he'll thrive under Pep

Need to start the second half on the front foot. Give them no hope of a come back. We don't want to be hanging on for 20 minutes at 2-1. Another goal please.

Not the most enjoyable game to watch but a good score at half time.

Nacho is very hungry to get involved as much as possible.

Fernando having a good game, not just because of the goal.

We urgently need Sagna back for the Real Madrid game. Zab's legs have gone completely. Sad to see.

Anyone know why we have the worst ref in the League reefing this game. I am sure we were allocated andre marriner . Madeley is an out and out city hater. Yaya has been going mental at the treatment silva is getting dished out.

Wasn't great but wasn't expecting s lot.
It's a lot better than against Newcastle. I think Nacho started slow but it really earning to his chance now. Serg needs to pass it to him more. He will link up with Kun and Yaya and Navas and Silva far better than Bony ever would. The more confident he gets in there the better the forward play will be.
Well in Fernando. Overall I think the effort is just better than midweek.Navas does get decent balls across the six yard area. Nobody gets in front of their markers though. Attack the near post Kun.
More goals there if the want it.
