Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Owen goes to Utd after god knows how many unsuccessful seasons and relegation.
Sol Campbell goes to Arsenal after god knows how many unsuccessful seasons and Notts County.
Patrick Vieira comes to City after winning a Trophy every year since he left Arsenal in a top flight league, yet the media are all saying his legs are gone and it’s a poor signing?

Sol Campbell won the FA cup with Pompy and was as solid as they come until he left there, who knows the reason why he went to Notts County but he knew he made a mistake and left. You can hardly call him passed it. Im sure if Mancini had signed him as cover we would all be defending him to the hilt just like we are Vieira.
Owen is on a pay as you play on modest for Premiership standard wages. I dont see the comparison to him and Vieira.

Campbell has emotional problems and has lost his bottle
Owen has injury problems and has lost his pace
Vieira is 33 and we'll see if he's lost anything soon
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

It's all a question of what you listen to or read. Yes of course there are those spouting what is stated on here but there are also those who think Vieira is a great signing and Campbell is a poor signing etc etc. Seems there are many who only see the negatives spouted out there.
Best to take no notice and trust our manager and then see for yourself.
