Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I'm certainly not!
Another trophy and a chance to say thanks to pellers for 3 trophies in 3 years including a double whilst the rags have won nothing.
A chance to possibly say goodbye to many of those players who were part of the best city team I have ever seen.
Some people have been rather spoilt I think.
Well said mate.
There's a chance that today will be the last time we get to see the likes of Silva and Zabaleta in the flesh. They deserve to have 50000+ City fans standing and applauding them as they walk around the pitch at the end.
Even the likes of Demichelis and Yaya deserve recognition from the fans for the parts they have played in success in previous seasons.
To deny these players a decent send-off because you're still sulking about not winning the Champions League is childish and petulant.
Silva? No way!

I fully agree KK. Well said
Sure everybody can do what they want etc but IMHO it makes us as fans look poor if we after these three years don't stay to clap them off.

Maybe fans like you need it explaining in fuckign pictures as to why fans like me are pissed off the team and with Pellegrini, as to write it down for you to read is obviously a waste of fucking time.

Apparently hardly any fans there. Around 8k stayed according the Cheesie. He also said if he'd been a fan in the stadium he'd have left on the 90 and not stayed behind.
Hope the players see that and realise what pricks they've been and that we won't be taken for mugs.

Well I'm glad they feel the way I do - any sane minded fan knows we have been utter turd this season , embarrassingly so and its pellegrinis bastard fault - he's the fucking manager.

Q:Where were we when we were shit!
A: Still behind the team
Q: Where were we when we won the league cup and reached the semi finals of the biggest and toughest competition in Europe.
A: Some were jumping up and down calling the manager a cunt and anyone who didn't agree 'lickers' - whatever that's all about I don't know. Sounds like school playground speak to me and something which id tell my 8 year old to ignore.

Again, it's not about what we've won or not won. See Nige's earlier post.

I even had the opportunity to shake Jason wilcox by the hand and thank him for his efforts

Support the team if you want innit, show your respect or beat the traffic.
On a related note, can someone advise if there's anywhere in the ground I can move where everyone isn't a whinging fucker? Booing our own players when they're coming on is fucking stupid.

Applauded the under 18s yesterday when they had their trophy presented, so didn't feel the need to stay today in case the first team mistakenly thought I was there for them

That's fair enough. It's their choice. My opinion is that its about the last three seasons as a whole, not just this season. I will always have a soft spot for Pellegrini, like I did for Mancini before him and I hope Pep continues this trend. Managers come and go as do players but the common denominator is the support of the fans. It's my belief we should respect the players and managers who represent our great club when they deserve it. I know that the last six months for some have been a massive let down, myself included, but a good number of the current playing staff are likely to leave the club as are the management team and this was that chance to show appreciation and respect. We have had some great moments over the last few years have we not?

Depends what you'd class as 'great' mate. The season we won the league in Pellers first year was good. Liverpool were our only threat though and their bottle went in the end. It was a decent season, yes. It wasn't great though.
Basically nothing from Pellers these last three years was on the same level as what Mancini brought us, but that's my opinion.

I wonder how many of those fans that booed wilf and went home before the team came back out were there when we couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo in the Stuart Pearce era.
3 trophies in 3 years under pellers is stuff we used to dream about. I am the same city fan as I was when Pearce was manager. I just appreciate what we have a lot more.
If we win stuff with pep, great. If we don't, I will still be there to roar them on. Any City fan who boos a city player about to come on the pitch is a fucking disgrace IMO

Disagree about Peller's first season mate. It was pure joy and we crused the rags twice and we thoroughly deserved that title.
