Supposedly Arsenal are now in the lead for Higuain.

Obviously theres more time in the window but we've only brought in Gundogan and are being linked with youngsters, keepers, Stones, and Sane.
A little bit worrying...of course those rumored transfers above could wind up being just that

A lot of these are not done, and now sounds like we could still wind up with Bonucci.

Sane and Stones will be very good signings for us. I know they aren't the finished product, but they will certainly help us and could become massive players down the road. You also left out Nolito who we got at a bargain price and can certainly get into the first eleven. We also got Pep who is an amazing manager and I believe can transform some of our players into better ones. We already have a very strong squad and are considered favourites for the title now for a reason.

I don't think Pogba is going to United, and I thought I heard Juve were set to meet the release clause for Higuain to beat Arsenal, who haven't signed anyone at all yet, btw.

Oh I see the news about Higuain now, as a possible exchange for Giroud.

New signings are exciting and all that but there's something else. We have a pretty impressive squad already, if Pep can get them performing, or even outperforming themselves then we will walk this league.

According to the mirror as reported on the OS....

Koeman looking to take Bony as PX in Stones deal

Possibly a win win situation, certainly from our viewpoint??

I hope the Rags don't land Pogba as that would be a major blow. Why wouldn't they though, if the media are to be believed? Why would Juve not accept £100m? Why would Poggers and his agent turn down £300k per week? I'm hoping Real or Barca are still involved but I am worried they are not.

I don't think you can walk the English prem without a powerful midfield. Yaya is past his best and the likes of Delph and Fernando are average. We do have great talent in the more attacking midfield roles with Silva, Nasri, Navas, De Brown etc but I think we need a bit more punch in the engine room.

We need a top class central midfielder to replace Yaya. Sounds like he wants to stay for his last year on 200,000 plus a week but he isn't the player he used to be. Starting the season in central midfield with Yaya Delph and the two Ferns doesn't inspire confidence. Only one of them is top class. Hurry back Ilkay we need you.

Demba Ba has suffered a broken leg that is rumoured by the BBC that is serious enough to be career ending. Hope not, for the lad. Awful way to end a career.

Just seen it. Worse than the Coventry lads, was it Busst? From such an innocuous challenge as well. As bad as it gets.

Could make sense that Juve would offer Bonucci to help fund buying Higuian if they aren't selling Pogba and now have Benatia on loan from Bayern.

Italian media reporting that Naploi doesn't want to do an exchange (i.e. Giroud), and want the £79m (!) release clause met, although I also read elsewhere that technically the release clause expired in June. They also don't want to sell to Juve, but then Higuain reportedly wants to stay in Italy as well, and Arsenal don't want to pay that much for him.

He's also 28 years old.

All craziness that if any of these things happen will I think have a huge domino effect on what several clubs will do next.

Yet it's as if his legs are made of balsa. Strange break from such an unforeceful tackle. The angle was just right I suppose. Sad for him. Freak injury.

On a brighter note the Chinese fans seem up for it. Good for them!

Cheers

If Juve lose out on a sale because of spreading false rumours about us offering massive amounts of money for him then I will laugh my socks off.

And why would he want to play on Thursdays?

Don't worry about them, they are irrelevant. It wouldn't be a "major blow"
