This has been so painful to watch, and just before the derby to. But we lose one game and all the sudden we have no chance of finishing fourth, JOKE we don't have to re-consider anything atall we WILL finish fourth and win the carling cup FUCK royal and champion.

How do we get the midfield organised we just do not have a player with amy creativity with Superman out. Surely we must buy in time for the second leg of the semi-final
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

Not one serious shot on goal, no bollocks and clearly injury worries for Tuesday night

No RSC , Petrov, Tevez is clearly carrying a hamstring strain, back four look total shit ..

Be nice if we could buy a whole new defence before the next match though

it was midfield not defense that let us down the most today.

cheers

I really hope so but there are currently 5 teams I think are better than us.
The defence has tightened up but for some reason we look less dangerous going forwards.
Petrov stuck on the right again today, why why why???

Well that was pretty fucking bad.

I'm sure Mancini will have learned lot more about some wankbags we have than from wins.

Need Vieira fit soon to help in midfield. I finally lost my patience with Robinho. Need to take Micah off and throw Ned on. Ade is sorely missed and would've been perfect today with Tevez.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

noy just lost the game tonight
we've lost Roque, probably Robson (his head)
and "that winning feeling". On top of other absences/
He can swing his axe as much as he likes but he's only got Pat waiting on the sideline that's fit and could transform us
We are overelaborate upfront and shakey at the back.
When the midfield has a bad day (or quarter hour) we're screwed..

Petrov on the right so he could shoot at goal rather than cross to the little people in the middle I think.

was 1 game 17 of them left.....

Game plan scupperer when RSC went off
Barry and NDJ both picked the wrong day to be pants.
Robson.... well lets see if he is involved on Tuesday - personally i hope he come out of it still playing for us as on his day he can be a real asset to the squad just not against cloggers like Everton.

4 wins out of 5 for Mancini isnt to be sniffed at and am sure he will have them back to their best in no time

We need a midfielder that can create things and a lot more mobile than the wooden Barry. Hope Vieira is fit soon cos de Jong's performance today was unforgivable, what did he actually contribute? (to City I mean, cos he contributed A LOT for Everton)

Yes that was clearly a mistake. He should have brought on Benji who IMO shud have started. It was the obvious decision, a like for like. I wonder what was Bobby thinking.

my nephew went up to bed so managed to sit through the rest of the game and calm down a bit. Just depressed in stead of a raving lunatic now, which is probably better for my heart (and what flies out of my mouth)

what did Benjani do?

But to be fair, he changed things around quickly when he saw they weren't working. But most of the lads didn't turn up and bollocking is what they need now. Hope Robbie Manc and Kidd make it clear in no uncertain terms that this was completely unacceptable.

I'm wondering which pisshead passed RSC as fir for the game?
That guy is a total joke, he got injured doing nothing, that is a talent in itself.
Benji didn't deserve to be dropped anyway after his performance against Blackburn

Fuck me, if this is the reaction to every defeat we are only going to see false dawns...we lost, and rightly so as we were awful, but it's not the end of the world, is it? Everton played like it was a Champions League final for them, good on Moyes for having been able to motivate them this much, we still have 17 games in the league to play and two cups to play for, learn from to day and go on, that should be the spirit.

Too many misplaced passes, a lack of creativity up front to find the space to feed our forwards, this is what we paid for today, Everton were pretty solid when defending to be honest, and every time we tried a long ball we missed a real target man.
