If that's the case then he needs moving on. Not having a 3rd sub hurt us in the last 20 mins, all because our captain got tired. Don't start if you're not fit and going to be a liability.

While he didn't offer much in the final 3rd, some of Garcia's passing and interplay was incredible. Looked a lot like a player I've seen before:

bloody hell Sterling was AWFUL

I have no problem with the lineup that Pep put out there...what i do have a problem with is Otamendi. he flops and flails around FAR to much. he easily could've stayed on his feet and gotten tight to Zlatan but he decided to flop in hopes of winning a free kick. guess what? Mike Dean didnt give one. when youre in that area of the pitch you cannot flop and try to rely on the ref. stand your fucking ground you giant pussy.

in this awful 6 match stretch does anyone know how many shots on target we've had? i know there have been many defensive errors but im more concerned about the atrocious attack. the only time we treated De Gea was Kelechi's attempted header in the first 2 minutes. after that De Gea had fuck all to do. after they scored i knew it was over

Not to mention one effort on target for every 200. Don't know why he came on ahead of Tosin would have liked to see him get a half to see what he could do.

30 shots on target in them 6 games Phips, or an average of 5 shots on target per game.

Anyone seen the video doing the rounds from after the match with the lad (assuming he's a City fan) walking up to rags asking whereabouts in Manchester they're from and they all say "I'm not from Manchester" haha. Got some balls that lad.

1 - I am fuming. We have lost against the rags. I don't give a fuck what context the game is in. It's a Derby v the scum and as such should be treated as a must win game where we give our all and the rags know that whatever the result, they have been in a war. This did not happen. DeGea didn't even have a save to make FFS

2 - Garcia had a good first half and last 15/20 minutes. The game slightly bypassed him for the first twenty minutes of the second half when the rags were on top. But he didn't hide and came back to exert his influence on the last 15/20 minutes. He has a good range of passing. I like the cut of his jib

3 - Maffeo had a solid if unspectacular game. Only lost his man once or twice and Rashford was kept fairly quiet. Didn't get forward too much however and didn't offer too much in attack. Maybe he had orders from Pep to keep Rashford quiet and not to bomb forward and lose his ground?

4 - The substitutions did not affect the game. Kompany off at half time probably didn't help but Kolarov added nothing. Sterling buzzed about but didn't sting and as for Kun, WTF was his position? Poor from Pep for me

5 - Sane was a waste of space. I honestly haven't seen anything in the few games he has played that warrants him playing for us. I really hope I have this very wrong but I wonder if we have a dud on our hands. Roberts at Celtic looks miles better. However, Sane is a young lad in a new country so I will give him plenty of slack, but not forever

6 - We need a third striker. Kun and Iheanacho are not going to score enough goals between them. I have my doubts whether Jesus will hit the ground running in January so I'd like us to get reinforcements in.

Just 2 words sum us up at the moment pal , UTTER WANK !

To be honest, the first point summed up my feelings last night and I am still annoyed about it now. In comparison the CL defeat v Barca was forgotten about the next morning.

Martin Buchan if I remember. I didn't like like them for years before that match because the Salford butcher made them commercial in the '50s.

Everything since Louis Edwards has been used for commercial advantage.

just logged to post and see the numbered list is pretty much mirrored

1) i was absolutely FUMING on weds. we lost OUR cup, to the worst salford team in my lifetime, without a whimper. He doesn't start aguero (whats all the bullshit about him being injured?) it was the back 4 I wanted (should have played at Sunday and we would have won) but the midfield of 2 sitters and sane up front - garbage knew we would struggle before the game with peps comments and then when i saw the team.

2) maffeo was immense - didn't trust him enough vs saints

3) kolorov (AND CAPTAIN?) get the fuck out of my club

4) Sane has been garbage for me - not sure why we paid all of this for him

5) extra pissed off with pep smiling /laughing after the game. Just because we got two performances from the kids that 1) hes not trusted when we've needed elsewhere and 2) won't get any more cup games.

As much as hes the best manager in the world, hes already pissed me off with
1) resting stones for kolorov against celtic and costing us a win - leading to the shit run
2) back 3 against saints when it was obvious we needed a 4 with mafffeo
3) that shower of shite - worst passion in a derby ever

at the minute its not looking like the hardwork or passion of a pep team.........

sort it, and hammer WBA

AND TO ADD:

Scum are shite, we play aguero and one attacking first teamer (silva - someone told me hes injured?) and we smash the scum, condemn them and get our mojo back.

now hes on his worst run in his career

gotta agree about the Sane bit. i wonder if we bought the wrong Schalke youngster. Meyer would've been my pick; natural heir apparent to Silva.

Despite all the negative stuff being said...guess what ? We're TOP OF THE LEAGUE !!!
We're out of the Mickey Mouse cup..personally I think our second team played pretty well against the best team the scum could possibly put out, sure I'd rather still be in it but hey ho there are bigger fish to fry. Garcia will be in the first team very soon...an extremely intelligent player and a fantastic prospect. He played very deep, I suspect if he was given a more attacking role he could be our next David Silva !
