ah, ignorance as an excuse for hypocrisy.

sums it up really.

i can't be arsed with this anymore, it's akin to explaining the justification of a Palestinian state to a zionist.

THATS NOT CHEATING (PAINTBALL) IF THE PAINT DOESNT APPEAR THEN IT WAS A FLESH WOUND.
I BROUGHT THAT RULE IN BACK IN 92 WHEN I WAS PART OF THE "REGULATORS" TEAM THAT NEVER LOST A GAME OF PAINT BALL.

NQDP - you seem to have this personality disorder which manifests itself in the way that you convince yourself that just because you say something it is fact and that people are daft enough to accept it..... when in fact so many others read it and think -what a load of bollocks...

You saying:

"I repeat, this topic has fuck all to do about me......." - when you start the thread in the way that you did - running for cover on your failed logic on the previous thread is only another example (trying to kid us is one thing - but you should not do it to yourself)

Wake up - so many here are saying that it is (to paraphrase) all about a self-obsessed egotist without the pair to just once say - do you know what I was wrong

I understand Carl enjoying it - and it might give you a sense of self-worth that you attract some attention - but actually it is pretty shallow behaviour - anyway enjoy your meal - I am off to the pub to cheer Bolton

Just to address the post in which you used me as an example of why you perceive people to be having unrealistic expectation under Mancini:

The target for Hughes was top six. That then changed to top four and the owners decided that Hughes wasn't going to achieve top four.

So they hired Mancini....

This has nothing to do with my expectations or my agenda - or anyone's agenda for that matter. What I just said above are the cold hard facts.

The worst thing to ever happen this site besides Mark Hughes becomeing manager was the subsequent labelling.... "Hughes haters, hughes lovers, ragophile" etc. Its absolutely pathetic to carry on in such a fashion and I really thought this whole thing of trying to put people into boxes and two different camps was over the day he left.

Unfortunately, with silly provocative threads like this, you are still on a mission to try to "uncover" those who have a genuine support for Mark Hughes or anything to do with Manchester United...

While I know you will completely ignore this, I'll put it to you anyway.... (and I hope I speak for all others that have been labelled)

WE (THE PEOPLE YOU LIKE TO LABEL) FOLLOW MANCHESTER CITY AND WILL SUPPORT THE MANAGER AS LONG AS HE IS HERE.

It really is that simple.

I'd be less confident - imagine Socrates rumbling down the battlefield towards you - gun in each hand - seven or eight men using him as human shield. Heavy Artillery.

It's been a really good thread. Nonsense reason for it but it has enabled NQDP and CFTG to show great teamwork.NQDP doing his best to defend the indefesible whilst CFTG watches on smiling before coming in after a while to deflect away from the topic in question and everyone has a laugh. Quality.

very little between them and I'm not fussed either way tbh. There were much better options than Mancini but we sacked Hughes at the wrong time and he was the best available candidate at the time.

Mancini did well at Inter in a understrength Serie A but his two previous jobs he did average (I would call his Inter time average considering what he was up against, but 3 titles is 3 titles.) and Hughes over achieved at Blackburn and Wales. Both are good managers, mancini is probably a tad more suited to a squad of our stature but I don't think he'll get us the sucess we're aiming for and we could be lookin again in a year or two.
