Hinchcliffe was fine when GMR were paying him to talk about City. But since his move to Sky he's conformed with their rules.

I remember, more recently, when Uwe was fighting against his cancer and he said he had been greatly moved by all the messages of support and encouragement he had received from City fans, even though it had been many years since he had last played for the Club.
I think it's a case of mutual respect and regard.

Someone phoned Rossler from the ground when he was in his hospital bed and held up the phone so he could hear the whole ground singing his name. That'd make anyone a fan for life, God bless him.
I thought Big Nose was Tommo...john@staustell wrote:Soccer Saturday.
Bignose says it was all because Barcelona were missing players. Everyone else more sane. Tommo said the second half was possibly the best ever European performance by an English team

The old 'Sky4' are starting to re-assert their innate authority over the 'nouveau riche' upstarts Manchester City and their oil rich Arab owners.
It won't be long before City's owners get tired and bored of their plaything and ditch the side altogether...............
What a lousy, nauseating, sickening week-end we've just had; think I'll go and lock myself in a darkened room.
