I bet there'll be a few English lads/girls on here watching just hoping to see England get beat.

I'm sure I saw somewhere that big dave wouldn't be playing for spain tonight

Is it worth watching then?

I want England to smash 'em, simple as.

If Spain are in the right frame of mind, England will be given an embarrassing footballing lesson.

Mind you, these days every nation seems capable of giving us a footballing lesson, so there's nothing new there then. I just think that, as a nation, we ought to do the decent thing and withdraw completely from all forms of senior international football, for the foreseeable future.

Just hope no City players get exhausted and/or crocked tonight.

If Vardy had a first or second touch no penalty would have been needed.

Lallana's penalty straight out of the Le Tissier book of how to score. I wonder whether he learnt that at Soton.

Why would Vardy not be the penalty taker, especially seeing how he hasn't scored in fourteen games? Surely him scoring a penalty gives him a boost

We've got this completely the wrong way round. We play important games against meaningless teams and meaningless games against important teams. No wonder England fail at finals with no testing during the qualifiers. Would be better to have an Italy or a Holland, or both, in our group.

Raheem a bit hot and cold. Looks lively but a bit too greedy at times in the build ups. One chance he could have gone for goal and always looking to pass. Yes I see the contradiction in that post.

Stones nearly cocked up again over playing.

Stones looks out on his feet at the moment. Body language isn't good. Not making.mistakes but looks like he wants to come off.

Southgate, tactical genius. Not.

Stones did look knackered. Lionel looked awful. Probably cost the win conceding possession

Bravo played 90 mins and saved a pen.
Zaba and Sergio played no part in Argentinas win but the otter played 90.
Fernandinho played 90 in brazils win with gabby jesus getting the opener.

USA lost again and look poor.

There's been some fallout from the Argentinian camp - the players are boycotting the media after a radio report claiming Lavezzi smoked a joint after training. Hopefully it wont affect the heads of our lads.

I don't think secondary smoking would affect them that bad.
