Hi mate. Mary D's right next to the stadium is always a laugh for City fans.

I heard once that the only places in the UK with teams called both 'City' and 'United' playing in the Football Pyramid are Manchester, Oxford and Cambridge. Don't know if it's true or not, though.

I suppose Salisbury doesn't count because the teams are in different continents.

I'm Bernard, a 41 years old french City fan. I used to support Racing Club de Paris, a legendary team that has dropped into lower divisions of french football. They shared the same colours than City, sky blue and white.
Now, you may ask me the main question : Why Manchester City ?
If I tell you I'm a huge Oasis fan, I think there's no need for further explanation ! Whenever Noel and Liam wore the former City jersey, with the so appropriate sponsor Brother, they convinced me that their team was mine to support as well.
I've known the darkest days with the division one relegation, and now I just enjoy the new dimension we've taken since 2008, winning honours and proving that Blue is the only colour that matters in Manchester.
I'm really glad to join the Cityzen community here.

I do like them. The reason for the name was that the tune was on the radio at the time I joined the city forum back around 1999
Bernie wrote:I'm sure Man City fans always choose good radio stations to listen to. So there's no way Barbie Girl can become an inspiration for a pseudo or anything else here. We leave this kind of "music" for those who support the wrong team !
