Just watched a recording of the game, and I have to say that it's great to have several players to choose from once again. We've been in want of choice lately.

It was great to see the much maligned Fernando boss the game the way he did. he didn't only break up play and get some good tackles in, but he also contributed going forward, and bar a couple of poor high balls out towards Sane in the first half, I thought he played excellently. It was also interesting to see him and Yaya often change positions, which was possible due to Yaya actually putting in a good shift today.

I also thought Otter did well, if disregard the poor effort for their goal, as did Kolarov.

There was one moment in particular with Fernando that I think swung the game for us, there was a scrap for possession in the centre which Arsenal won until Fernando came steaming in with a cracking sliding challenge to win it back ( was sure Atkinson was going to blow for a free ) that set us on our way to creating a chance for Sané to go one on one against Cech. We didn't score from that one but it set the tone for the rest of the game and we effectively bullied Arsenal in the centre from then on, that is the reason I gave Fernando my vote.

Yeah, I remember that incident well. I wouldn't go as far as calling it a game changer, since we were clsoing them down fairly well during the first half and really well straight from the off in the second, but you could see that the our players reacted to it.
