Just a kick apparantly. Taken off as a precaution

Some thoughts.
Nolito really is not very good.
Nacho should have been playing every game in Sergio's absence.
Yaya was superb from the off.
Sagna was rank.
Sterling is such a mixed bag.
Very decent result that was starting to look unlikely.
We only have one player of the quality of the old guard that are reaching their natural end and that is KdB. ( Although one or two others have a chance)

Thanks chum.
With the Liverpuddle game coming up, we need a full complement of defenders to choose from, without losing any more to injuries.

Nolito was appalling, I thought. As bad as Yaya was good. He's some footballer is the big man.

I always stop reading when I see you commenting on wingers. You simply don't understand the concept and what is expected of them.

Nolito wasn't great but the stat carries on, 9 league starts, 9 league wins now. To give him his due he did manage to work himself some decent positions to have a crack but just like Silva he was found wanting when he took the shot on. He hit one absolutely brilliant corner that had someone been attacking the back post they'd have had a simple headed chance.
As for Sagna, don't get you, he did his job well enough and cleared brilliantly off the line which seemed to be the turning point in the game.
I find it sad that we've got to the stage now where we can't even enjoy a win in our strive for perfection, it seems it's all or nothing these days.

Having written that, I hope and expect him to pull out that one game that turns everything around for him. Hopefully that will be the dipper game.
