Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

So if anyone speaks out even in such a mundane way they get lynched. The rags have been doing this for years and never a word did say.....

This is why I couldn't be a footballer. I'd have a life time ban by now and getting fined every week. Cunts!

I'd be alright since I don't do social media - they'd have to keep the interviewers away from me though.

Same. Don't know how some of them hold back, I really don't.

I hope that gets an airing in his next match.

Surely telling what you think to be the truth is not illegal or incorrect. For example, it is not wrong to say "In my opinion Lee Mason is a very poor referee" . That isn't saying anything that could be deemed incorrect or inaccurate. Or ' I am very disappointed with the quality of the refereeing in the premier league". The players and manager don't have to call him a useless cnut , although most might say that is true.
"Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs."

Don't tell them anything; innocent until proven guilty. Let them prove that it broke their silly rule about officials bias or lack of integrity.
Does that rule cover incompetence as well? I don't think so from the way it is worded.
Anyway, you weren't talking about just what was on the pitch, you felt you were not getting the same support from your manager that Burnley were from theirs (the media will love that one).
Your finger slipped and you meant to type 11, not 12.
Er...
That's it.

Love what Sagna did. And the beauty is everyone knows what he meant, yet it can't really be proved. Legend

He's now been charged by the FA with misconduct.
“Bacary Sagna has been charged for misconduct contrary to FA Rule E3 (1). It is alleged that a comment posted on social media by the Manchester City defender constituted improper conduct in that it questioned the integrity of the match official and/or alleged and/or implied bias on the part of the match official, and/or brought the game into disrepute. He has until 6pm on 13 January 2017 to respond to the charge.”

Why didn't he just shrug his shoulders and say it was autocorrect? Zero chance to prove otherwise

Wow.
That's pathetic, even for the FA.
How would this stand in a court of law I wonder?
