The Fight is On

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The Press persist with cynical loaded questions.

It is more than evident, they don’t think Guardiola is going to hack the Premier League, or stay long at City. They tried to draw him in to giving a definitive “ill be gone by such, and such a date”. They are hoping if the going gets tough, Guardiola will get going. He is realising now what nasty cunts they are. Their anti- City agenda ratchets up with each bad result.

Sky Sports were trolling Guardiola on Twitter about our atmosphere.Yet only 48 hours prior you could have heard a pin drop at Klanfield. Agenda most definitely.

I'm not having all this shit about the fans not creating an atmosphere means that we somehow deserve a shit performance like we got whilst we still had 11 against Burnley. If that were the case, Pompey would be top of the league. The dippers made enough noise a few years back and still finished second.

Booing players, like some are doing to Bravo is out of order and counterproductive, but don't try and make out Kolarov won't track back unless I'm stripped to the waist chanting at the top of my voice.

I don't think that's being suggested for one second mate.

However, it would be an amazing sight, seeing the place packed, buzzing and everyone staying to the end.

It's pulling together and it's a fact that it helps the team. 12th man and all that.

I think it would do no harm to give it a go.

They're trying to drive a wedge between pep and the fans and they obviously see now as the prime time to strike, after that interview.

Anyway, pep thinks we're a small club apparently.

Fucking scumbags and their scumbag rag agenda.

What a fucking plank that guy is. "City haven't won away against Liverpool in over 30 years"... Well Liverpool haven't won the league in 27.

Chelsea is a big club, but not City?

Fuck off!

Problem is, it's not going well however you look at it and regardless of how you think we'll do the rest of the season, I'm not sure the manager having a go at the fans and saying we're a second tier club in England is a great way to get the fans on side.

But we are treated as a second tier club, behind the Sky 4. That's why Pep is here, to take us that next step of the project, which is to be the very top team in terms of performance and world wide exposure.

We are notorious for our Gallows humour.

Given this twat of a journalist comparison of us to Villareal (cheeky cunt). I am all for a rousing rendition of “We all live in a Yelllow Submarine” raise the roof next home game. I think that would be an epic response.

For those that don’t know. Apparently this interview was given by Pep 4-5 years ago. Not saying I agree with any of the content. It just gives perspective, seeing as this time line would fit in with the start of our journey to dominate in England, and where we are today.

I also think Pep could do himself a huge favour by trying to relate to our fans a bit better, we had a history before 2010,and it’s a fucking good one, I would say we have one of the best fan bases in the country given where we have been. His recent comments, regardless of time line of that interview do upset some of our fan base. repeatedly saying the support is shit won’t endear him to some fans. Not saying he has to get City like Mancini did and wear our scarf.Although it fucking would help. :D

Where'd you hear that about the interview being from 4-5 years ago?

The journalist responsible is allegedly a Spanish based RAG. The interview was given by Guardiola 4, maybe 5 years ago.

I am happy to be corrected if what I wrote is fundamentally wrong. This is what City fans are saying that I talk to. Personally I think there maybe more than a bit of truth in it.The ridiculous Villareal comparison, and Guardiola alluding to the fact we don’t have the financial clout of our bigger rivals is so ridiculous, it really isn't worth commenting on. In my opinion this interview only starts to make sense if viewed from a historic perspective, prior to our success. If it really was given recently…………… well then that’s another story……..

Martin has no direct quotes from Guardiola. It is all "Guardiola thinks this", "Guardiola thinks that". Well Martin thinks he needs to take a shit because it's filled his brain.

That's the whole point isn't it?
It's Sky Sports running a headline and story based on a shit roll rag top paper quoting someone who once spoke to pep.

I honestly think our heirachy at the club are toothless, were getting dry bummed every season from uefa from paper plane fines, coming out two mins late or ffp. To the fa's corrupt refs, fines, bans and shite schedules.
Also the sky 4 is an agenda that the TV, media and fa strive to get back.
Our club must now do something they haven't done they must have a siege mentality, fuck off all so called experts that continually disrespect the club, question every dodgy decision. They will soon start to think twice about taking the club on.
Its time our club grew a pair and flexed their muscles!!!

Can't see it! "It was a genuine slip of the key guv, I meant 10 against 11"

It's not a 'fight' though is it? Though I have noticed that Mourinho's multiple tantrums seem to have resulted in refs now giving him absolutely everything, so maybe Pep has noticed that? Everyone knows Fergie used to intimidate them

It used to really annoy me when Pellegrini used to never complain about anything and say it's just 'football'. No it fuckin isn't, it's bias.

Well, its hasn't been a fight up until recently and that's my point.

Up until now it's been bullying.
