Holy fuck, Silva was incredible! Yaya was powerful and unstoppable as always, with that first penalty goal really setting the tone for the match, then the assist with Aguero, gorgeous!

Silva for me, I will SO miss him when he eventually hangs up his boots. (so many good performances, Yaya was great again, Sagna and Zabba played well, couldn't really choose a second place from those three)

Cracking game by all but Sterling and Silva for me.

Fucking love it, and so glad to see Stones get a goal as well.

Ps. Can I just say how good that set-up was with Zab playing a lone role in the middle. It was an exceptional call.

Pep was the exception.

I've gone for Zab. That position tonight could have proved to have been our Achilles heel but he stepped up in fine style.

Merlin for me.

Skill and sumptuous technique personified.

[ As an aside, I quite liked Garcia's relatively brief role. Looked more than comfortable in possession and kept it simple.]

I went for those 2 as well. Silva just purred thru the game. What a first touch he has, just sublime and if Raheem had as good a first touch he would really be world class. Raheem ran ever so well and was a true threat all the time but sometimes his brain doesn't tell his feet what he is trying to do.

He's not the finished article, and that's what I like. Pellers didn't allow him to grow but we now have him near a level where he was when we got him. Pep can only move him on and I'd like to imagine that he could be one of the English best.

He's looking very good.

As for Silva, how many superlatives can you give? We've been blessed, probably my best player, ever. And that's not just City!

Silva was exceptional but thought The Otter looked calm, comfortable, not rash & he just gets the ball moving quickly
