The Otter wasn't named as one of the top 20 or so in the world for no reason

Skill and sumptuous technique personified.

[ As an aside, I quite liked Garcia's relatively brief role. Looked more than comfortable in possession and kept it simple.]

Garcia always looks comfortable in possession. helps being 4 nil up.

Fucking love it, and so glad to see Stones get a goal as well.

I went for those 2 as well. Silva just purred thru the game. What a first touch he has, just sublime and if Raheem had as good a first touch he would really be world class. Raheem ran ever so well and was a true threat all the time but sometimes his brain doesn't tell his feet what he is trying to do.

He's not the finished article, and that's what I like. Pellers didn't allow him to grow but we now have him near a level where he was when we got him. Pep can only move him on and I'd like to imagine that he could be one of the English best.

He's looking very good.

As for Silva, how many superlatives can you give? We've been blessed, probably my best player, ever. And that's not just City!

After the first 20 minutes or so I felt Silva was going to be MotM. Everything he did oozed class. His touch his movement with the ball, his key passing around the box and then he tops it off with a sublime finish. Colin Bell has always been my best ever City player but but it's getting harder and harder to deny Silva that accolade. Pep must absolutely love him

King Colin was a totally different player to Merlin and it seems so unfair to compare them, especially with them being from separate eras, but you're right Mr H, Silva is probably going to be the best ever, if not this season then by the time the next one is over.

I just wish we had a Colin Bell in his prime, playing alongside our little magician today. That would really be something special.

Its not really intended to be a dirct comparison of the 2 players as I agree they were different types of players and in a very different era. But in value to their team they were immense. When Colin played I almost felt like we wouldn't lose. He scored, created, defended, helped manage games and was just magnificent. His poorer games were still good.

Silva is similar in so many respects. Yes I would like to see him score a few more but his control of the ball and games and his special passing is just a delight to watch. Hope he stays with us till his career ends.

Our all time No.1 Silva. Magician. I'd pay the entrance fee just to watch him, he's sublime. The best playmaker in the Prem over the last 6 seasons and a joy to behold. We are so lucky to have him. Dynamite

Unfortunately the only reason he is on the list is because the art of defending has been lost!

But I've liked what I've seen of Otter in the past few games. He can be surprisingly good in the air and as long as he stays on his feet he is a decent defender

My vote goes for Dave Silva
