I really couldn't give two fucks about the Champions League. If we told UEFA to go fuck themselves and withdrew I wouldn't shed a tear.

Plus it doesn't matter what we do to comply. They'll change it at the last minute again to make sure we fail.

Not sure how much more of this sort of shite I can tolerate. The game is completely losing its appeal with this continuous moving of the posts.

UCL has become a joke for years now.

I really did not believe I would miss the days of Blatter, Lennart Johansson or Havelange.

In fairness, they are talking about the gap in funding between the top "elite" (City included, but also all the usual suspects, Real, Barca, Rags, Red Scouse etc) and the rest.

While I've no doubt it will turn into another stick to beat City with as it stands they don't seem to be protecting the establishment.

TBH I think they are just scared shitless about a (inevitable IMHO) breakaway league.

So, they want to 'cut' the super clubs wealth so they don't run away with the league's yet they've just given the other 8 clubs on that list even more money on the next round of financial incentives?

Don't make me laugh, they've named us for a reason, and that's to us us as a whipping boy as they put it across that we don't have the history. Are we now part of the G14 who've been pulling the strings for years, do they seem us as the Euro Elite? Do they fuck, theyre just using us as the ECA is now run by those other G8 (John's words, not mine) cunts, headed by the likes of Gill and his German cronies.

There's no new FFP to be sought to stop the other 8, just a system to ensure the G8 stop us from muscling in on their trough.

Does anybody really think the Rags aren't working behind the scenes at the PL, FA and UEFA, and telling them the way it's going to be?

+1. Guns out for domestic treble every year.

The only downside would be that players seem to want to play in the Corrupt league

It's sad really. Once my young lad has grown up I can see myself not bothering with football anymore. A game I've loved all my life.
Greed really is ruining it. It's not a sport it's just an industry like any other.
In time fans who have got pissed off with being treated as customers will start showing the behavioural traits of customers and will just go wherever they get best value for their buck and will have no brand loyalty.

Let's see how fucked the game is then.

If they really wanted fair play, put a salary cap on teams. Let's see how quickly the players strike once they utter those words.

If they really want fair play, they can distribute the prize money, gate receipts and TV money equally to every competing team.

Sorry mate, wasn't in response to yours, it was the way the original article was wrote, lumping us in as if we'd been there all this time, turning the rules in our favour.

The best way to deal with this is to win the PL every season.

A lot that UEFA does these days is aimed at getting the Italian former greats back to the top table, from the gutter they currently lie in, especially Milan and Inter.

But I too believe the Champions League should be a cup for Champions, not a money-spinning exercise.

Win the premier league every season- with the fa running the show??

They have us both sides.

Although, I'm just a silly conspiracy theorist, so perhaps it's not an issue.

A new UEFA study has shown that Manchester United has the highest net debt of any club in the world.

The amount of money that United owe has now grown to €536million (£464m), according to the European Football Landscape report.

United's debt has grown by 25 per cent in the last year alone, which is a complete contrast to the rest of Europe, where UEFA say overall debt has decreased every year over the past five years.

The debt accrued by United have been a source of anger from some fans over the past decade. Gill and his rag hat on hiding under a desk.

Fucking madness.

I'd love to see them do a Leeds. Impossible with Gill pulling the strings and the FA in it's current set up.

Very clever move getting Gill high up the ranks in UEFA.

I think, given how the club was run until uncle Malc's demise, it will come as no surprise that their recent spending sprees will have been accompanied by more debt being saddled to the cockney hoards season tickets.
